Dipper smiled, walking in the woods of Gravity Falls. His hand holding his boyfriend's, Bill Cipher. The two taking a break from the Mystery Shack and especially Mabel's nagging about their relationship.
Bill looked at Dipper. The brunette was pretty happy, taking in every detail of the forest. His mind making small notes to add to his journal when he got home. His eyes bright as he looked around.
The demon couldn't help but smile softly at him. He was glad to see Dipper happy. Bill held his hand lovingly before lifting up, placing a soft kiss on the Pines twin's hand.
Dipper blushed softly but smiled still, looking at Bill. The blonde chuckled at his blushed face.
"Cute.." Bill said lightly, watching as Dipper looked away with a darker blush yet he still caught the shorter male's smile.
Dipper then gasped, spotting something. He let go of Bill's hand, hurrying ahead, jumping over a fallen log easily. Bill kept his eye on him. He would have to agree with his thoughts that Dipper really has gotten stronger and swifter since nearly 4 years ago.
"Hey, Bill!"
Bill broke from his thoughts, following Dipper's call. He jumped over the log, finding Dipper near a large hole.
"Woah! Careful there, Pinetree." Bill reached his side.
Dipper kneeled down beside the large gap in the ground, studying it. "This.. doesn't look natural.."
"What does around here?" Bill said simply.
"Eh true." Dipper shrugged, standing up.
"Hmm.. It could honestly be from many things." Bill looked at the hole.
Dipper heard something, looking to his right into the forest. Nothing moved, or made a noise. Dipper narrowed his eyebrows in confusion. Something didn't feel right.
Bill was still looking at the hole, trying to see if he could lower the amount of answers to this puzzle. "Ok this is difficult alone. Pinetr-... Pinetree?"
He didn't spot Dipper anywhere. No clear as glass sign to where he may have ran off. That was until Bill noticed soft footprints in the dirt heading to the right.
Bill walked that way, moving a branch out of his way. He looked around as the footsteps soon stopped.
"Pinetree???" He called out, hoping he wouldn't have to resort to magic.
No answer was given. Bill walked over to Dipper's hat that was on the ground abandoned. He picked it up, dusting it off.
"Pinetree?!" He became worried then heard something rustle near by.
As he looked in the sound's direction, the said brunette came running out of the trees and bushes. His jacket sleeve torn, his hair was ruffled with a leaf or two, a visible bruise on his cheek, and blood dripping from mouth.
"Pinetree, are you ok-" Bill was concerned as Dipper ran over to him, grabbing the demon's hand, dragging him along as he continued to run.
"No time!" Dipper avoided the hole, still holding onto Bill's hand.
"What are we running from?!" Bill asked.
A large purple and green monster roared, running on it's 12 legs after them. It's four black eyes targeted on them.
"What the heck is that?!" Bill yelled.
"I don't know!" Dipper panted, feeling something grab his ankle. "What the- Aaaahhhhh!" He got pulled back by the monster.
Bill gasped, skidding to a stop. The monster growled, tossing the human boy against a tree. Dipper grunted as his back hit the rough bark. Sliding down to the forest floor, he groaned, feeling dizzy as the monster hurried over to him.
"Oh no you don't!" Bill's voice altering demonically as he teleported himself in front of Dipper.
The monster growled, threatening to attack. Dipper sat up then with Bill's help, he got to his feet. He stumbled, holding onto Bill tightly.
Bill protectively wrapped an arm around the injured boy, the other glowing yellow and blue. He glared at the monster with a sharp eye.
"You wanna play?!" Bill's altered voice spat at the monster as powerful magic gathered in his palm.
The monster snorted, roaring before charging forward. Bill didn't hesitate, blasting it away. He felt Dipper hug him tighter.
Bill watched as the monster slowly got up, shaking it's head before looking back at the two boys. It didn't take the hint, trying to reach them again. The dream demon growled, using a larger blast on the monster.
It flew back a good distance, way far from their spot in the forest. Bill thought it'd be even considered lucky if it even was given a chance of survival from when it'd finally hit the ground. He looked down at Dipper.
Dipper had his eyes winced shut, holding onto him tightly. Bill felt bad, wishing he was there to help sooner.
"Dipper.. You ok?.." Bill asked him softly, caressing his brown hair.
Dipper nodded a little, pulling away. He coughed as his back felt sore. Bill carefully moved his chin so he looked at him. He used his magic to heal the bruise on Dipper's cheek.
"You sure?" He carefully picked the leaf out of his hair.
"Yeah.." Dipper cleared his throat.
Bill exhaled, hugging him gently. Dipper rested his head against the demon's chest. He felt his lover place a kiss on his head.
"Maybe that's enough adventuring for today.." Bill suggested.
Dipper nodded, not moving off of his chest though. Bill carefully picked him up, letting Dipper's legs wrap around his waist as his arms went around his neck. While Dipper rested his head against his shoulder, Bill looked at the forest.
May you receive this warning to anything that dares try to hurt my Pinetree... The demon glared out among the trees, letting the message spread out by mind to the creatures and animals who lived there.
Dipper gave a small breath, feeling Bill's hand softly rest on his back. Bill kissed his head again before starting back to the shack, healing his brunette lover's back along the way.
