Lance sits properly in his seat, blushing a little, he begins to speak, " A-anyhow, that's beside the point." Pidge glared at him, sort of upset at him for being so close to her and unimpressed by him. Lance continues, " So listen, you go to Garrison High, right? How about hanging out with me and my group?" Pidge's eyes widened as a flashback came into mind.

~~Flashback~~

Katie leaves her old schools cafeteria as children laugh at her. They laugh due to the fact she had milk spilling on her head and embarrassed herself because of it.

~~End Flashback~~

She began to frown at what Lance asked and was speechless. After a while, she looked away from Lance and replied, " Thanks, but no thanks, Lance. I'm uh, fine on my own." Lance didn't want to fail Matt, so he continued until he got a yes, "Wh- c' mon, at least give us a chance-" Pidge stood up immediately, startling Lance a little. She held her hand tight in frustration and began to get mad at Lance, "I didn't move here to be buddy buddy with people Lance!" She groaned and let go of the utensil in her hand that she clenched a little too tight. She looked down at her hand and noticed her nail prints on her hand that were a little too deep. She mumbled to herself as her hand began to shake a little, "Ow." Lance turned to her, "Woah, hey, you okay?" Pidge began to move from the table as she stated, "I should go home." "Wh- no! We should get that patched!" The brown haired boy began to argue with her. Pidge turned away from Lance, "Thanks for dinner, Lance." "But-" Lance's face looked guilty and upset.

Matt and Veronica were having a conversation about their younger siblings and family when Pidge interrupted, "We're going home." She grabbed Matt's hand and dragged him away from Veronica. She pushed her older brother to the door and yelled to her mother, " Mom, Matt and I are heading home!" Matt was surprised and responded with a 'Wha-'. "Thanks for dinner!" Pidge yelled to Lance's family while pushing her brother out the door. He whisper-yelled, "Katie, my apple tarts-" She successfully pushed him out, "Katie-" the door slammed before he could finish. Meanwhile, Colleen was in the kitchen helping Lance's mom clean up, "Interesting pair of kids you got there, Colleen." Colleen replied, "Haha, right?"

----------------Back Home---------------

"Woah Woah Woah Woah! Katie, what is up with you?!" Matt yelled at his sister as she pushed him to their house. "What's up with me?!" she began, " What's up with you?!" She began to explain to her brother, face slowly fading to a frown, "I know you told Lance to be my friend, and...Matt I don't want to bother you with my problems, I just." She frowned and said, " I'm going to bed." As Pidge walked away, Matt began, "Katie..." He was too late, she was already heading upstairs.

She opened her bedroom door to find a nice bed with a green blanket, boxes scattered everywhere, a green flannel by her bed frame, and a glass door leading to her small window with a curtain beside it. Pidge looked down at her hand and decided it was best to patch it up so it can heal better. She wrapped her sweater around her waist and grabbed all the items she needed from the bathroom. After putting on rubbing alcohol and bandages in her room, she finished, still feeling the sting of the alcohol. From the balcony door, you could see Lance in his bedroom looking into Pidge's room. "Pidge?! Queee(what)??" Pidge jumped and turned to see Lance, "Oh god...Lance??" Lance saw her rush to the door and begin to reach for the curtain, "Wait wait don't-" too late, she already flung the curtain to prevent Lance from seeing her. She began panting and realized, " Oh god, I'll have to keep these curtains closed for the rest of my life...Ugh, whatever." She walked toward the small wardrobe beside her bed and grabbed an orange medicine container. She looked closely at the bottle, "Aw c' mon... my first day of school is tomorrow, at least let me sleep...God." The container of pills was empty, so she had no choice but to try to sleep without the help of her pills.

9:00 P.M.

Wide awake, laying on her stomach.

4:26 A.M.

The same exact state as before.

6:00 A.M.

Finally falls asleep.

6:21 A.M.

The alarm wakes Pidge up; she only got an estimate of 20 minutes of sleep. She gets ready first by putting her glasses on. After a shower, she puts on a black shirt with a green alien head on it that says 'Believe' in green. She slowly puts on a green sweater and walks downstairs. She grabs the entire coffee maker container and drinks all the coffee that was inside of it. "...Did you even sleep?" Matt asked, knowing the answer was obvious. Pidge answered anyways, "Uh, no, but God bless coffee exists." "Moms gonna kill you from drinking from the pot, by the way." Pidge grabbed her grey-ish blue backpack and walked out, Matt following behind her.
