Heres the prologe to a story I had high hopes for, but soon after hours of homework and cakes to be eaten, I gave up on it. I have written much MUCH more on this and its very popular for scaring the poop out of classmates and parents alike. I will post more but ONLY IF YOU ASK ME TOO!!! Let me know if you want to find out what happens. (its a rather good story if i do say so myself) but this is just the prologe and there will be more blood, guts and gore in the fully finished edit. Thanks. xxx
Prologue
‘Hello, if you are reading this e-mail you are the first to ever receive this chain mail.’ Molly stared mindlessly at her computer. ‘Chainmail’s are an exciting fun way of interacting with your friends. If you wish to be involved with this revolution and sacrifice yourself, please reply ‘Yes’ to this e-mail address. If not please reply ‘No’ and if you ignore this e-mail we will accept as ‘yes’.’ Molly was shaking, every bone in her body shaking with fear. She moved her mouse over the reply button and started to reply.
‘No’ she typed and pressed enter to send. She jumped as her text automatically turned to ‘Yes’. She deleted the text and typed again. No matter how many times she tried to reply ‘No’ it always turned to ‘Yes’. Tears were rolling down her face. She now regretted opening an e-mail account. Six year old girls shouldn’t have e-mails but her step auntie had let her. Her fear turned to frustration and her frustration turned to anger as she furiously tapped the keys.
The e-mail was gone. Had she done it? Had she got rid of it? Her heart sank as she realised she had replied ‘Yes’. What was going to happen? All they knew was her email address. They couldn’t do anything to her. Could they?
By the next day Molly had totally forgotten about the e-mail. That was until she got home and checked her e-mails.
‘Hello, it’s time to renew your promise. We have two simple steps for you to complete. Step 1- You must wait for us to come over and sacrifice you.’ Molly’s heart skipped a beat. ‘Don’t worry if you think we cannot find you. We will find you. Step 2- Send the e-mail attached to as many people as possible. If you have any questions please e-mail back.’ Molly quickly replied: ‘Why are you doing this to me?’ She waited patiently for a reply. Once it came she daren’t look as the subject was ‘It’s Simple’. It read,
‘It’s Simple. We smelt your fear. A little girl all alone with no mother or father plus a brand new computer and e-mail system. Being young and free, it’s exciting for most. But you’re different. You want to grow up too fast. You are scared. You don’t like your teachers or class mates. Your mother and father rejected you after you set the house on fire when you found your father cheating on your mother. You ruined your mother and your father’s life. You’re angry Molly. You’re an angry child. You’re Scared. We can tell and we can help
We are helping you. Do not be afraid. Soon this will all be over…’ Molly understood now. They weren’t trying to scare her. They were helping her.
‘When are you coming?’ she replied anxiously. ‘Soon’ they replied. Molly ran to the window to look out for whoever was coming to save her. She felt a wind in her hair. She turned around to see a tall beautiful lady in white standing in front of her. She was glowing white and left a trail of shimmer as she glided towards her. Her crystal white dress was long and the lace cradled her delicate figure. Molly thought that if she was to touch her she would shatter into a million pieces.
“Molly,” she spoke in a dreamy voice.
“Yes.” Molly’s voice sounded dumb and clumsy when compared to the Lady.
“You are to come with me. You have been chosen.” She walked away and Molly followed. They stopped outside in the garden, the moonlight casting shadows, lighting up the woman’s face. Molly felt like she didn’t care what happened now. All she wanted to do was be with this perfect, graceful creature.
“You will sleep now.” She whispered. Molly suddenly felt very faint and flopped onto the lady.
The light flickered as Molly’s eyelids opened. She found herself staring at a low ceiling.
“Hello.” said a soft strange voice. “You’re dead.” Molly let out a loud scream that echoed throughout the room and down long corridors.
“Where am I?” whimpered Molly.
“But technically you’re immortal. You should be dead. Think of it as ‘we saved you’.”
“Saved me? From what? Yourselves? Where am I?” Molly whimpered.
“You’re in Court Fear. This is where you will renew your promise. You are about to go through a very painful and traumatic experience.” said the voice. It sounded almost alien to Molly. Foreign or something.
“What are you going to do to me?” Molly chocked out.
“We’re going to operate on you.” Suddenly the room was filled with half skeletons of deformed people holding sharp instruments.
“Don’t worry. You will feel better when it’s done.” The voice sounded promising but Molly was having second thoughts on thinking they were helping her.
Then the torture began.
“First we must gauge out your eyes in order to make sure you cannot see what we are doing. For your benefit, of cause. Brace yourself. It might hurt a little.”
Pain shot through Molly’s head as her eyeballs where grabbed and pulled until the optic nerve was stretched and cut with a blunt saw that still had the blood from its last victim stained, mixed with rust. She screamed again as blood trickled into her mouth. She may be dead but she could still feel the agony.
“Gauging out your eyes isn’t enough, oh no, now we have to torture you more.
Hurt you until you’re so angry, so hurt and oh so… depressed. A Thousand cuts should do it.”
“No, no, no please!” screamed Molly as knives sliced her delicate body just enough to not slice her up into little pieces. Hours later after cut after cut, Molly was scared of the world she had just entered. She was angry. She was hurt and she was depressed.
“Now,” said the voice. “We make you lonely. A year in this room should be enough.”
Molly couldn’t move. She couldn’t cry because she had no eyes. She was dead but she felt all the emotions.
“Wait!” She managed to say.
“Yes…”
“Who are you? Why are you doing this?” Molly felt so weak.
“I am your new master. You do as I say. We are doing this for a reason.”
“What reason?”
The voice laughed. “For fun.”
*****
Molly was starving. She didn’t need food though she could still feel the hunger. She couldn’t sleep. Something was stopping her. She felt so weak.
“It’s been a year. Are you ready to hate the world you live in?” Molly couldn’t speak. “I’ll take that as a yes. Would you like to see yourself… in the mirror? Oh yes, you can’t because you don’t have any eyes, do you? That’s a shame. Now it’s time for you to finish task two. Go back home and send out the e-mail to everyone you know. Ok... Go!”
Molly found herself strong again and walked to the door and left. The lady.
“Maggie, you can show your true form now.” In an instant the beautiful woman turned into an old lady, frail and decomposing.
“Molly, you know your tasks, Maggie will be your transport. Also we cut out your tongue so don’t bother trying to speak. Anyone who doesn’t forward the e-mail you kill. Off you go then.”
Molly blindly set off into the dark night.
