Shigure had flew away from his Deeprealm, due to the Vallite soldiers destroying everything in their way. He has lost... Everything. His friends, his childhood, his home. And he is the only sole survivor from his Deeprealm. So, he fled towards the Astral Sea. Coincidentally, he came across his mother, Azura, who had just received word from Jakob that a young pegasus rider had just landed upon their ship.

"Shigure, my son! What happened?" Azura asked, clearly concerned for her son. "M-Mother... Did I make it? I... I flew out of my Deeprealms just to find you!" Shigure panted. "Oh my, you're hurt... and your pegasus looks ready to collapse!" his mother uttered suddenly. "Never mind us. My village is under attack, we need to return to my Deeprealm at once and you and your friends must help me save whoever is left over there..." the young pegasus rider commanded. "What's that? Your village? But from what enemy?" the Lady of the Lake asked. "I... I don't know... It's hard to see them sometimes. They're only semivisible, but they are fierce fighters. And one thing's certain is that they are after me. My friends risked their lives to help me get away..." Shigure explained. However, the invisible soldiers appeared on the other ship, causing the Airborne singer to worry. "My friends and I will make them pay. Everyone! Prepare for battle!" Azura commanded. 

After the battle, Azura turned to her son. "Shigure, the battle is won, but your worst fears have proven to be true." the aquanette spoke, "I slipped away to your Deeprealm for a moment. These invaders... They have razed your village, and there is no one left... Everyone who took care of you in my stead, all of them are - " "Everyone?! Ohhhh... No no no... NOOOO!!!" Shigure screamed. "I'm sorry... If we had came sooner, that is, if only I had warned you about them - " Azura apologized. "No." the Airborne Singer interrupted her, "You and your friends have clearly known these evil and more. I'm at fault for being a child too long. My eyes have been closed, but my heart has been opened. I can imagine, a little, what it must feel like to live in your world. Still, you find it in yourself to sing. And so must I." 

The Lady of the Lady looked at her son in confusion. "What are you going to sing?" she questioned. "You know the song well, Mother." He then began to hum the tune of the song Lost in Thoughts All Alone. 

"Truly, how well I do. You plan to sing it as a requiem for your dead? How beautiful. Even beyond the clouds, your friends will be moved to tears. Surely, a melancholy rain will fall upon your village." Azura said. "Mother! But what am I to do now? Everyone I knew, except you - " Shigure was cut off by his mother. "Ah, I have no choice but to find another place to hide you." the songstress answered. "I... I don't want to hide anymore. I am joining your cause." the sky knight admitted. "What's that? Son, you must stay safe!" Azura debated. "No." Shigure shook his head, "My friends lost their lives trying to save me: I need to learn to protect myself. I need to get strong enough, so I can make the same sacrifice for others." Azura hesitated for a bit, until her mind is made up. "... Very well, Shigure. But you must let me protect you when I can. You cannot deny your mother more that." she smiled. "My heart is singing! And it's a song of hope for the future." he smiled back. "Let us make it a duet, Son." Azura recommended, which Shigure accepted. "Yes, Mother. It will be my honor."

Back to the present time...

Shigure, lost in thoughts all alone, near a lake where his mother sang her heart out, reminisced his memories in his Deeprealm. There was one particular girl who understood Shigure during their childhood time together. Unlike him who always sing, she likes to dance her heart out. That being (Name). Sure, Shigure is close to other people during his time in his Deeprealm, but (Name) was the closest friend he had ever had in his entire life.

(Name) was a (C/C) who loves to dance, especially when Shigure was singing to his mother's song. Despite her being a bit clumsy yet tried to be heroic, she still came out on top, along with her injuries. However, when his Deeprealm was attacked by the invisible soldiers, (Name) had sacrificed her life to save him.

During the attack, just outside (Name)'s home (which had collapsed), the airborne singer and (Name) were the only survivors. "Shigure, go!" the (Hair Colour)ette called. "(N-Name)... No. I'm not leaving without you..." he panted. "No. Go now. I'll only just slow the both of you down..." she shook her head. Shigure extended his arm towards the young girl, however, the debris fell and landed in between them. "NO!" Shigure cried out. "I'll try and find my way out, I promise you, Shigure!" she yelled. The airborne singer tried to lift the debris up, but it was far too dangerous. He has to flee. In his mind, he didn't want to leave (Name) but in his heart he must do what she had told him to. "I never got to tell you how I truly feel about you..." he said, sadly. And that's how he had met his mother again. Over in the Astral Sea, where both Corrin and Kamui's army were sailing.

Shigure rode on his pegasus, lifted off and sang his heart out until... "Shigure! You won't believe this!" Azura ran up to him. "Mother! What is it?" Shigure's pegasus landed slowly, then him getting off. "You won't know who is at the (Hoshidan/Nohrian/Vallite) Castle!" The Lady of the Lake gasped for breath. "I shall go immediately." Shigure nodded.

Once arrived, the airborne singer couldn't believe who he saw - a (C/C) who had (H/L) (H/C). "(N-Name)... is that truly you?" he spoke. "Hey." she smiled. Shigure smiled with tears. "I thought that you would be dead... (Name)..." (Name) cried with him. "I told you I tried and find my way out." she giggled a bit. "Of course. I couldn't bear to lose you over again..." Shigure whispered, "There is a certain area I would like to show you. Will you come with me?" "Of course. I would love to." (Name) nodded. The two of them then left the (Hoshidan/Nohrian/Vallite) Castle, little did they know was that Azura, along with her husband, were smiling at their son's reunion with his childhood friend.

Shigure then led (Name), who had her eyes blindfolded, to the exact lake where Azura had sung her heart out. "You ready to see?" his voice made (Name)'s heart melt, which she nodded in response. The airborne singer removed the blindfold that was covering her (E/C) eyes. (Name) gasped in amazement. The setting was at a beautiful night-time, along with colourful fireflies. "This is beautiful, Shigure... Thank you..." she cried. "I've been meaning to tell you how I felt about you the moment we have first met - I love you, (Name) and I'll never let you go." he confessed. "I love you too..." (Name) spoke. The two shared their first ever kiss, then Shigure leans on her forehead.

"#You are the ocean's gray waves...# Ah... hah... I feel so happy... to be able to sing to the one I love. I'll... treasure you forever."

I'VE DONE IT! Sorry for the delay, I have been quite busy with the exams, and this is the only day that I am free from my exams! I do hope that you enjoy this oneshot, Beyblade_Burst_Gal!
