A/N: Thanks for 100 reads! We love y'all!
*Leslie, Alex, and Lydia all come in through the front door of the apartment*
Penelope: Hey guys, how was the mall?
Leslie: It was quite fun. I actually got a cowboy hat to match the boots your mother got me a while back.
*Leslie pulls out a big brown cowboy hat out of his bag and puts it on while doing a lasso motion*
                              Leslie: Yeehaw.
*Lydia and Alex cheer him on while Penelope looks slightly confused*
Penelope: Well that's nice. Do you wanna stay for dinner Dr. B?
Leslie: Actually I have to go. Those boots won't shine themselves!
*Everyone waves goodbye as Leslie leaves*
Penelope: So Alex, did you buy anything there?
Lydia: Papito spent all his time in the coochie store looking at expensive caca!
*Penelope gave Lydia a look while Alex shook his head*
                              Alex: Abuelita, it's Gucci.
Lydia: Aye dios mio. It doesn't matter.
*Lydia goes into the kitchen to cook*
Penelope: Alex, what have I told you about going to the Gucci store? I taught you the value of a dollar for a reason.
Alex: I was only looking...for possible birthday presents.
*Alex gives a cute smile and Penelope scoffs*
Penelope: Your birthday isn't in months and if you think I'm buying you something from Gucci then you're crazy.
                              Alex: Fine.
*Lydia comes out of the kitchen and strikes a pose*
                              Lydia: The dinner is ready.
                              Alex: Where's Schneider?
*Schneider comes through the door looking wet with no shirt and a swim cap on*
                              Schneider: Howdy!
Alex: Why are you soaking wet?
Penelope: And put on a shirt.
*Lydia looks at Schneider's abs with a smirk and Penelope gives a disgusted look*
Schneider: I just signed up for water aerobics at that new place down the street.
Penelope: Isn't water aerobics that boring exercise class for viejas?
Schneider: No, in fact my new classmate Granny Addington would agree with me. I also got a striped rainbow speedo for the class, wanna see it?
Penelope: No! I do not want to see your speedo.
Schneider: Suit yourself. I'm gonna go dry off and put on a shirt in the bathroom.
Penelope: Yeah, you go and do that.
*Schneider leaves to the bathroom while Penelope opens her laptop*
Alex: Mom, aren't you going to eat?
Penelope: Elena and I arranged to Skype at every dinner so it can be like she's just here.
Alex: Okay, but I can't promise you I'm going to listen to all her stories.
*Lydia peeks her head in from the kitchen*
                              Lydia: Me either.
*Schneider comes back through the door, now being dry and having a shirt on*
Penelope: Welcome back, we're just about to Skype Elena and start eating.
*Everyone sits down at the table as Penelope hits the call button on the computer and Elena's face pops up*
Penelope: Hi Elena! It's nice to see your face again!
Alex: How's college? Any cute girls?
*Elena rolls her eyes with a smile*
Elena: I've devoted myself to Syd because I'm loyal and they're my Sydnificant Other.
Schneider: I'm missing my favorite handy ma'am. I still have our handy caps for when you get back.
Elena: Okay then, and thanks for paying for my first semester, it means a lot.
                              Schneider: Anything for family.
Lydia: How are you going to get the money for the rest of your college?
Elena: I can still apply for scholarships and there are some jobs near campus.
Penelope: Okay but just remember to take it easy, don't get too stressed.
                              Elena: I will and-
*Elena gets cut off by some indistinct yelling*
Elena: Sorry that's my roommate, I gotta go.
                              Penelope: Uh okay, bye!
                              Elena: Bye!
*Everyone says their goodbyes before Elena ends the call*
                              Alex: That was quick.
Lydia: We weren't even halfway through our dinner.
Schneider: I didn't even get to show her my speedo. As an ally, it's a duty of mine to be prideful and show support.
Penelope: I don't think anybody wants to see that kind of support Schneider. But it's okay, we can call her next dinner.
                              To be continued...
