Chapter Two

            I woke up the next morning to Kelsey making bacon. Well it was burnt smelling but still. I walked out and grabbed some off the plate.

“Is it good?” She asked.

“Um…… Sure….. I like my bacon extra, extra…..extra, EXTRA crispy!” I said and smiled at her.

“So anything new?” I asked her after a while of chewing.

“I heard him in my dreams last night…..” she said trailing off.

“Hmmm…. And thing important?” I said with interest.

“Not really, just the usual, ‘give up, we will wins.’ And ‘we won’t give up’s.’” Kelsey said. I nodded. I got up and went to check my emails. Most were questions from other head witches on what to do. I answered them the best I could with Kelsey’s help. Kaitlynn came out of her bedroom sleepy looking.

“Hey Kaitlynn, sleep well?” I asked her. She shook her head, her hair flying,

“Kept having nightmares.”

“Wanna talk about it?” Kelsey asked again getting all motherbot on her.

“Not really.” She replied shrugging. Kelsey nodded and let it go. I sighed and stood up,

“Well I gotta get to work, you to Kelsey. Kaitlynn lock the door and don’t let anyone but us in. Okay?” I said to her as if she was a child, which in a way she still was.

“Yeah.” She said nodding her head. Kelsey and I went out the door and to work. We both worked at a restaurant as waitresses so we didn’t have to take two cars. We didn’t do much work that day, but we did get evil eyed by a lot of men, which must have been a part of Alex’s side. Not that we care. We spit in their food and drinks anyways, which we laughed about for while in the back during our break. So I’m going to take this guy’s order and he requests a different waitress, so I’m a little hurt but tell Kelsey to go and take his order. Then she comes back and tells me that he wouldn’t let her take his order either. That he said he wanted a man more than the woman in the restaurant. So Kelsey goes and tells the manager and he says he can’t blame him. So we get really mad.

“We are not going to take this kind of stuff at work to!”  I yell. Kelsey backs me up and is all like,

“No we are not going to stand for this.”

“Well I’m sorry girls I don’t know what to tell you.” He says and tells random guy to go take this guy’s order, then goes to walk away like we are done talking to him.

“Well whatever!” I say.

“WE QUIT!”  We said in unison.

 So we got though work and hurried home. Kaitlynn had been answering calls all day with questions on what we are going to do and how to stop it and are we already fighting them. Kaitlynn didn’t offer much help with the questions. Most the time she would answer the caller and since she didn’t know what to say she would just hang up on them.

“So any really important calls?” Kelsey asked Kaitlynn.

“Nope……. Oh! Wait, Aiden called.” She said, as she typed on the computer.

“Aiden? Alex’s brother?” I asked.

“Yep, that Aiden. He wanted to talk to you guys too, but you weren’t home so I told him that you would call him back later.” She said handing Kelsey a note with the number on it. Kelsey dialed the number on her cell phone and put it on speaker.
