The hospital

Jessie's POV:

I was curled up with Hunter on the couch when I started to feel unspeakable pain on my right side. 

"Owwww!" I screamed. 

"What's wrong baby?" Hunter asked.

"My right side. It hurts so bad." I cried. I had tears streaming down my face. 

"Okay, I'll call Luke and tell him that we are going to the hospital." Hunter said. He called Luke and told the bus driver to get to the nearset hospital. We pulled up to one five minuets later. Hunter carried me in and Luke got us checked in. Luke pulled me into his lap.

"Oh princess, I know that you will be alright." He said kissing the top of me head.

"What if I'm not daddy?" I sobbed.

"You're gonna be fine." Luke said. They called us back and told me that I needed to get a CAT scan to see what was going on. They took me into a seprate room and told me to lie down. They got the scan and took me back to the room where Luke and Hunter were. The doc came in.

"Miss Bryan." She said.

"Yes?" I asked in pain.

"I'm afraid that you have appendicitis, we need to do an immediate operation." I started to sob. She told me everything would be okay. I had to change into a different hospital robe and they put a wristband with all of my imfromation on me incase I have a reaction to the medication. They wheeled me upstairs to an operation room and that's the last thing I remember.

Hunter's POV:

Poor Jessie had to get her appendix out and me and Luke are pacing the wating room waiting for an update. Luke looked like he was about to throw up he was so upset, I'm not too far behind him. I sat down and Luke sat down next to me and put his head in his hands and started to cry. I patted his back and he kept on crying, to say I was a little disturbed was an understatement, but I do understand. It's his daughter and he doesn't want anything to happen to her. And she's my girlfriend and I care about her more than almost anything in the world. Luke started to calm down.

"You know what Luke?"

"Hmm?" 

"We should go down to the caferteria and get something to eat, it might take our mind off of Jessie's operation for a while." Luke nodded and we went to the elevator and got in. I pressed the button for the first floor. We went to the cafeteria and I got a soda and a cookie and Luke just got a water. We went back upstaris and a doctor came out.

Luke's POV:

"Family and friends of Jessie Bryan?" She called.

"Right here." I said.

"Mr. Bryan, the operation was a succes. You can go see Jessie and take on person with you. Just a heads up, she's pretty tired and sore, so just be aware of that." The doctor said. She led me and Hunter to Jessie's room. I opened the door and saw Jessie, my princess, laying on the hospital bed pale and tired looking. She was hooked up to a few beeping machines. She managed to muster up a smile.

"How are you Jess?" I asked her.

"In pain." She replied.

"Baby, is there anything we can do to make you feel better?" Hunter asked from behind me.

"Not really." She said. I could tell she was tired. The doctor came back and talked to me and Hunter and told us to let her sleep and make her laugh since she has to excersise those muscles and because, well, laughter is the best medicine. The docor walked out and me and Hunter turned around and Jessie was asleep. Hunter scooted a chair up next to her bed and held her hand. I grabbed another chair and pulled it up next to the other side of her bed and grabbbed her other hand and held it. She slept for about an hour and then woke up. Hunter grabbed his phone and looked up cheesy jokes on google and told them in silly voices and then let me have a turn. Jessie seemed to be concentrating on us and not how much pain she is in. The doctor came in and told us that visiting hours are over but one of us can stay.

"Hunter do you want to stay?" I asked him.

"She's your daughter and I know how concened about her you were, how about you stay." He said.

"But she's your girlfriend." I said. 

"I know." Hunter said.

"Well, let's have Jessie choose." I suggested.

"We can't do that to her Luke." After a while we decided that I would stay with her and if Hunter needed to come see her in the middle of the night we would switch off. I walked back into Jessie's room and talked to her for a while and then I noticed that she was getting tired. I turned off the lights and tried to get comfy in the chair but I didn't succed, it's gonna be along night.

Hunter's POV:

I went back to the bus and tried to sleep. But all I could think about was if Jessie was okay. I tossed and turned and tried all kinds of different positions to sleep in but I could never get comfy. I decided to watch some television. I turned on the T.V and nothing was on. I sigheda and decided to read a book. I tried that but couldn't focus my attention on the book. Oh well, I thought. It's gonna be a long night.
