"this is stupid" I sulked
"i know" Richelle replied as we walked into our work
because i almost died our bosses are making an addition to our duo by adding another duo that are apparently "more experienced" because they are older and have been doing this their whole lives and they "think we'll get along" i sincerely doubt that besides their not THAT much older ones two years older than me and the other one is 5 years older i'm most likely going to hate them both oh and worst of all they are pirates turned "good" FUCKING PIRATES
soon we reached our training area and walked in
there stood our boss pushing 40 and two, surprisingly attractive guys they had that whole "mysterious cocky" vibe to them
we walked in Richelle smiling of course she is being civil
"hi! i'm Richelle, this is my sister Valerie" Richelle said brightly
"i'm Gabe jones" the older one said
"i'm Caleb Jones" the younger one said stretching his hand out for me to shake
they both had thick english or maybe irish accents
"stop right there i hate you already" i said with a sweet smile
"Agent Cain i thought we agreed you'd put effort into this" our boss groaned
"i showed up didn't i?" i said sass laced in my voice
"i like this one" Caleb chuckled
i glared at him coldly and he put up his hands in surrender and stepped back mockingly
"we are here today to show each other our magical abilities" our boss said
"how about the youngest first?" said Caleb gesturing to me
i smirked and walked towards the target
i whispered Valkyrie so non of them could hear it
then sending a stream of plasma completely incinerating the steal target
