Spring Break

Chapter 2

     Victoria came into Georgia's room telling them they had to get going. Everyone hopped in the car and off they went. Alice hooked up her iPod to Georgia's mom's car and they jammed out to music.

     About an hour into the drive, Georgia was getting hungry, so they stopped at the next gas station to get something. Georgia got one slice of juicy, hot pepperoni pizza with an iced coffee. Alice got a sub sandwich and iced coffee also. The girls got back in the car and off they went. Alice and Georgia just kept jamming' out to music and watching Youtube. Alice ended up falling asleep because she was so tired. Alice has been sleeping for about 45 minutes. Georgia almost fell asleep, but her mom said they were only about 15 minutes away from the airport.

     Georgia woke up Alice, and they got out of the car. Alice called her mom to tell her that they were about to enter the airport. She finished her call and they grabbed their bags. The girls were walking so fast, but Victoria couldn't keep up. They entered the airport and checked in. It was 4:45 a.m. when they got their plane tickets. Georgia waved her mom goodbye and off the girls went. They were so nervous and excited. Alice thought that they should grab lots of snacks and Starbucks. Georgia agreed and they also got a bunch of little water bottles. Georgia paid for the stuff and they headed to their gateway.

     They were only a few yards away from their gateway. They got to their gateway at 4:55 a.m. They waiting for about 15 more minutes until boarding the plane. They gave their tickets to the person that takes their tickets. She asked them their first name, last name, and when they were born. Alice went first and said, "Alice McGuire and I was born on 7/8/2002."

     Georgia went after, "Georgia Sullen and I was on born on 1/29/2002."

     They got to on their plane and headed their seats. D4 and D3 are where they sit. Georgia got a window seat but gave it to Alice since she wanted a window seat. The pilot got on the intercom and told them to sit back, relax, and turn on airplane mode on your phones until they told them to turn it off. The pilot also added they would be taking off in 5 minutes.

     This is Alice's first time flying on a plane, but this is Georgia's second time. Georgia went with her mom last time to Disney World. Alice was really nervous and when they started taking off and flew in the air, Alice was crying. Georgia told her everything was going to be fine. At least they think it is. Alice calmed down and she was ok. The pilot came back on the intercom and said that they could turn off airplane mode and there is a website that has movies and wifi. Alice goes on the website and pays for the movies and wifi.

     It's been about an hour into the flight and nothing has happened. The flight attendant came by and asked them if they wanted anything to drink. Alice got a Diet Coke and Georgia got a Mountain Dew. While they were drinking, they watched Netflix. They were watching it for about 15 minutes until the pilot goes, "Ladies and gentlemen, there is a big storm coming in and we may have to go through it," and she kept going on, "Do not panic though, I will do my best to keep all of us safe."

     Alice was still panicking so much and she wished she never would have ridden on a plane. Georgia told her to calm down. It got really rough all of a sudden and they both thought the plane was going to crash. Then all of a sudden, Alice and Georgia blacked out.
