It's the next morning, and the girls are still sleeping. It was a beautiful morning and Alice wakes up. She decided to grab a snack from the bag. She grabbed a granola bar and water. When Alice got done eating, Georgia woke up. She was a mess, a big, hot mess. She was dying of thirst, so she chugged water. Georgia couldn't get that situation out of her head from last night. She wanted to know what it was. Georgia had no idea.

Georgia finished her breakfast and the girls went on a walk. Alice wanted to make a seashell necklace. It's the trend, and she wants to join it. Georgia thought that she should too. So they did, and they found the perfect shells. They were a perfect size, the perfect color, the perfect everything. Alice filled her pockets full of them and so did Georgia. They were heavy too. Alice looked up in the sky and saw something. There was smoke about a mile away. "OMG! Georgia we should go check out that smoke! Wouldn't it be so much fun!"

"I was just thinking the same thing, Alice!" Georgia really wasn't, she was nervous and didn't want to go.

So, the girls first went back to their "campsite" to take back the shells and other things they found. They also needed to grab their bag. Alice was so excited, and Georgia, on the other hand, wasn't. She couldn't wait, she was jumping up and down, and she was running in circles. Georgia just acted like she was excited, but she wasn't. Georgia thought that what if that thing she heard last night is what that smoke is. What if it's a person, an animal, or a cannibal? Georgia was becoming a nervous wreck and started having a panic attack. "Georgia, are you ok? What's wrong? Can you tell me?"

Georgia didn't know what to say because she didn't want to scare Alice. She decided to tell Alice what she was thinking because she was already really happy. "Well, I-I-I, I heard a really weird noise last night. I was awake, and I didn't want to tell you because I thought you'd get scared or something," Georgia kept on going, "I just don't know if we should go there, because like what if we get lost or worse. Something might take us."

Alice didn't believe her, "Well I tell you what, let's just go and see what it is. I bet it's just the plane, and it crashed."

They started heading for the smoke. Alice was walking really fast and Georgia was just slacking behind. They both didn't know what to think, but they for sure didn't want to die. They walked on the beach for a while, and finally, they reached the forest. They were only in the forest by their hut, but they walked out of it to reach the smoke. They're going to have to walk quite far to get there.

Alice was already walking into the forest. Georgia yelled, "Wait, Alice!"

Alice waited by the forest. Georgia had to tie her shoe. It was untied and she didn't want to fall or trip. Georgia heard something, so she looked up. She didn't see anything, but she did notice that Alice was gone. "OMG! OMG! Alice is gone!"
