The coach finally reached its destination and the members slowly got off. After a few minutes of stretching, the members looked over at the bright blue sea that was on their right.

They had come over to a hotel resort for their vacation as a group. It was their first time actually visiting a far away place as a group, and not doing any idol related activities. They were still going to record their trip and post it on their YouTube channel, but that wasn't their priority.

The first thing they decided was their roommates, and of course, NCT being NCT, wanted to drag it out as long as possible.

The method they decided was that half of the members would put their phones in a bag, whereas the others would pick a phone out. Whoever that person got would then be roommates with them.

Donghyuck, Taeyong, Doyoung, Yuta and Johnny put their phones in the bag and the people who were choosing were Mark, Jungwoo, Taeil, Jaehyun and Sicheng.

The first person to pick was Jungwoo. He walked over to the bag and gently took one of the phones out. Taeyong looked at the phone and instantly smiled. The two of them got along well, since they both liked clean rooms, and neat beds was quite their priority.

"Ayye." He said as he got up and gave Jungwoo a side hug. They both picked up their bags and walked to elevator to go to their room, as they were not bothered to wait until the next people got their partners.

The next person to pick was Taeil. He didn't really care who he got, so he just picked out a phone, put it up in the air, walking away as quickly as he could. Johnny, being quick to react, jumped up and followed Taeil, who was already halfway to the elevator.

Jaehyun then put his hand in the bag. Yuta put his hands together and began to pray. Jaehyun slowly, very very slowly, pulled out the phone of his roommate. Yuta's face dropped and he covered his face with his hands.

"This is why I don't trust you." He mumbled, perhaps trying to insult God.

Sicheng, on the other hand, was happy. Yuta can get quite annoying, so he was glad to get someone else. He grabbed the second to last phone in the bag and showed it to the remaining members. It was Doyoungs.

Donghyuck's face lit up when he saw it.

"SOULMATES!" He yelled, throwing his hands up in the air and then glancing over to Mark, who was currently cursing and mumbling the same things Yuta was saying a while ago.

Before Mark could take out Donghyuck's phone, he came and quickly grabbed it out of his hand.

"Privacy." Donghyuck said, as he shook his head and put his phone in his pocket. Mark raised his eyebrows in confusion, but Donghyuck had already started walking away.

Mark plopped down onto his bed and sighed. He was tired. Why wouldn't he be? He didn't sleep at all the night before, or the night before that, or maybe even the night before then, he couldn't exactly remember the last time he had slept properly. And now, as if God was trying to tire Mark out even more, he was sharing a room with his "soulmate". Life couldn't get worse than this, surely.

"Markeu hyung." Donghyuck called out, trying to act cute, but instead just made Mark even more exhausted. "I'm bored, let's play."

"Shut up. I'm tired." Mark put his hands over his head in attempt to block out Donghyuck's whines.

Donghyuck watched Mark slowly shuffle up the bed and then get under the sheets. His eyes were stuck on the shoes that went under the sheets along with Mark. With disgust levels rising, Donghyuck jumped forwards and onto Mark.

Mark gave out a small shriek of panic and tried to push Donghyuck off, who was grabbing his feet.

"What are you doing?!" Mark said, as he kept trying to push Donghyuck, who was struggling to grab the laces on the shoes.

"Just! Just stop moving!" Donghyuck said, as he finally got ahold of Mark's feet, and with one big pull, he took off his shoes. Then he got off and put the blanket back onto his feet. "There"

Mark watched Donghyuck as he climbed off the bed and began to unpack his stuff. He took out his clothes and neatly hung them on the hangers that were available in the closet. Then put his shoes on the bottom rows. Finally he got out his electronic devices and joined Mark on the other bed.

"Stop staring Mork." Donghyuck said, without looking in his direction and using his phone.

"I wasn't staring. I was observing." Mark replied pulling the blanket to his nose. His eyes wanted to close but his brain was keeping him up.

"Really? That's what stalkers say." Donghyuck turned to face Mark and give him a big smile. "I was just observing my BElOvEd."

Mark laughed a little, and then quickly stopped and slapped Donghyuck's arm softly, glaring at him as he did.

"Shut up. I'm trying to sleep." He closed his eyes and began to think about something to help him sleep. The first thing that came to mind was watermelons, but they're not helpful in sleeping. So he opened his eyes and then turned to his side, so he was facing Donghyuck.

Donghyuck was too busy to notice Mark staring at him. He smiled as his dog 'Coco' sat when he told it to. Then his face lit up as he managed to win one of the rewards in the game. After a few minutes of staring, Mark realised what he was doing and then quickly shut his eyes closed when Donghyuck turned to him.

"Markeu hyung?" Donghyuck asked, as he turned his body fully towards Mark. "Were you observing again."

Donghyuck smiled as he watched Mark scrunch his face up once again and then sigh.

"I can't sleep." Mark finally admitted, keeping his eyes closed and then laying onto his back. "My eyes can't open, but my mind keeps on staying awake."

"My mind's telling me no." Donghyuck said, and before he could continue, Mark slapped his arm. "Just lay in bed and soon you'll sleep."

Donghyuck then got off the bed and began to find some comfortable clothing. Everyone had already decided to rest this day, and then go out for the next two weeks they were staying there. They had all been practicing for too many hours in one day, so they needed their sleep, and rest. Donghyuck threw his clothes to the floor and then slipped into a hoodie and shorts. He then wobbled his way to the bed and dropped onto it, causing Mark's side of the bed to also shake slightly.

"I'm gonna meditate for a bit." Donghyuck said, with his face in his pillow. Mark nodded and then brought his fingers to his face. He began to count the seconds before Donghyuck spoke again. "Okay I'm up now."

"Hyuck, just rest if you're tired." Mark said, opening his eyes and turning to Donghyuck, who was climbing off the bed and to the front of the room.

"I'm not tired." Donghyuck said, slipping his feet into his shoes and then standing up again. He turned to Mark and then waved his hand. "Come on, let's tire ourselves even more so that we can sleep."

Mark slide off his bed and then crawled over to his shoes, which had been thrown over the place. He then walked past Donghyuck, who was a smiling mess, and was out the door in seconds.

"Oiiii, wait for me."
