I walk down the alleyway, smoking a blunt. Weed calms me down, and I am pretty stressed out right now. My black knee-high tie up boots are untied, so I kneel down to tie them.
I get up and see this high school so I press my blunt against the wall to put it out, and I throw it into the grass. I sigh to myself and grab onto the strap of my purse as I walk. I don't wanna get arrested for weed, so I spray myself with perfume.
I see this girl, sitting against the wall, who stumbles to stand as I start to walk by. "Hey," I say, "You okay?" She looks like she had been crying.
She doesn't say anything, she just looks at her shoes, that are black, with a white strip. Old Converse. I smile, "Don't talk much, huh?"
She doesn't respond, again. I stop smiling. "aren't you a high schooler?" I ask, because, she's kinda short.
She shakes her head. Oh. "Well," I begin, and I ruffle her hair, "Let's go take over the world, kid."
She looks up and grins. She has a pretty face and blonde hair, with brown roots. Deep blue eyes, but her skin is sorta pale. It looks soft, and her lips are soft looking. She is very pretty.
I smile at her. Her grin is enough to light a dark room. I start to walk away, and I feel her follow me. I look behind me, and she comes and walks next to me. She doesn't say anything, but she doesn't have to. I officially have a friend.
*time skip*
She followed me to the bar. She showed her ID to the bartender, and apparently, she's 21. I had to show mine, too, I look pretty young.
I sit next to this pretty girl, with silver hair, but the type that illuminates the room. It's hair dye, obviously, because of the dark roots. She has dark makeup on her eyes and wing eyeliner. Her lips are dark red, and her cheekbones are highlighted. Her skin is very pale.
She says, "Hey" to me and I wink and whisper, "Hello." back.
I look at the small girl that followed me, and she already has a drink. I look at her, "What'd you get."
She whispers, quietly, "Coke and Whiskey." I smile, "Good choice... Now, are you gunna tell me your name or what?"
"You haven't told me yours." She states. I nod, "oh, yeah, I'm Beverly Grey."
She gives me a half smile, "Kayla." The music is loud in the background, and I hold my hand out, "Wanna dance, shy one?" She takes my hand, but carefully. We go out there and dance calmly, at first.
Then, Kayla starts to whip her hair, causing me to laugh, and she laughs, too. She has two sides, I guess. A shy side and a crazy side. I like them both. I look at her and notice she has a huge smile, but once I see it, it goes away.
I grab her waist and put her hand on my shoulder. I grab her other hand and gently sway with her. She lays her head on my shoulder, and whispers in my ear, "Thank you, Beverly."
"For what?" I ask her. She looks at me in the face, "For showing me how to have fun, again." As she says this, the girl from earlier comes over. She dances next to us, and I ask her name.
"Amelia." She says, "What about you guys?" I smile at her, "I'm Beverly." Kayla just shakes her head, and Amelia says, "Shy, huh?"
I nod, "Yeah she is."
Just then I see this guy put something in Kayla's drink.
I glare at him and yell, "HEY!" He looks at me up and down, "yes ma'am?" I glare into his eyes, "That was my friends drink!"
He looks back at the drink, then gets in my face, "What are you going to do about it?"
I clench my fists, "Drink it, yourself, asshole." He lets out a laugh and I hear Kayla say, "Let it go, Beverly!"
"Do it," I growl.
"Make me."
I reel back my hand and punch him in the nose.
