With a groaned, he open his eyes and winced slightly at the annoying light, he shut them for a moment before open them fully, his vision getting clearer

grunting slightly, he position himself into a sitting position with his back against the headboard, he moan in despair once he realize he's in the cursed hospital

'What Happen' He squint his eyes and tried to look back what happen to him, once he collect all of his memories, he stood from the bed and strode toward the mirror, he was shock at his own appearance

the soft click of door open broke him out of his musing, twisting his body around, he gave a large grinned once he saw his grandfather figure step in, wearing his usual hokage robe

"OLD MAN" He bolted at the suprised hokage, wrapping his arm around hiruzen waist, the hokage chuckled and hugged the boy back

"its good to see you naruto-kun, i'm happy to see you up and about" the old hokage smiled in genuine happiness

"well, what do you expect from future hokage?, i'd can't just stay in bed and expect for you to give the hat to me that easily" he retorted with a grin on his face

hiruzen chuckled jovially "oh, don't you worry my boy, one day i will give this hat to you, you just need to be more patient"

after their settled down, naruto sat on the bed while hiruzen sat beside him, a small ressuring smile on his face

"naruto-kun" he raised his head and was worried when he saw the serious glint on the old man eyes "do you remember what happen to you before you were unconscious?"

the hokage hide his concern when he saw the boy averted his gaze to the floor, suddenly intrested by it, his thumb play with the other one

he waited for a minute before the blonde finally relent "it was the villager" his voice was soft, as if didn't want him to hear it

"what did they do naruto-kun?" the hokage asked, hiding the anger that was brewing inside him, for kami sake, how stupid these villager could be when it came to naruto

"They want to hurt me old man" his eyes blank, no emotion in them, hiruzen personally hated those eyes, it saddened him to witness his own surrogate grandson has those emotionless eyes, it doesn't fit him, he prefer the joy and goofy glint in his eyes "they said they want to avenged the fourth death"

hiruzen almost scoffed at the notion, avenged the fourth?, couldn't they see the difference between the holder and the nine-tailed?

"And mizuki" he clenched his hand "he told me the truth, about why the villager hate me, the fourth, he sealed the fox in me!"

The third hokage internally winced at the pleading expression on the boy face "he's lying right old man?, there no way the fourth hokage sealed the fox in me?"

"naruto-kun" he softly said, placing a hand on the boy shoulder "i'd want you to listen carefully, what do you know about the kyubi incident"
