naomi's pov
it was after school, so me and caitlynn had soccer tryouts ans last year i was team captain.
we walked to the field and started to stretch, as me and caitlynn were stretching, i saw ashley walking onto the field.
"what is she doing here?" i said with a shit ton of attitude.
"i don't know, but nick and zion are both here." caitlynn said pointing to the bleachers.
both boys are sitting most likely five feet apart, but have their hands crossed and leaning back.
my heart eyes grow huge as i see zion stand up with some pom poms and cheer my name.
"knucklehead." i mutter while giggling.
ashley appears to notice nick up on the bleachers and she waves hurriedly at him.
nick blows a loud ass air horn and screams ashley's name along with, "THAT'S MY GIRL."
so much for zion's cheering. i tie my hair back in a ponytail and slouch in the front of the field.
"HEADS!" ashley yells.
when i turn my head, a soccer ball lands right smack dab into my face, sending me flying back from the force.
caitlynn angrily storms over to ashley, "what the hell do you think you're doing!? hitting someone just like that, and the goals are the opposite side of you, assley."
"hey, i- it wasn't me! i was just warning her. why would i even try to hurt her?" ashley pleads through scared eyes.
naomi sits up rubbing her face, "who cares. i get hit, i get hit. and we're here to tryout anyway, right?"
all the other soccer girls nod their heads, mumbling yes.
"let's just play ball, plus coach is waiting."

during practice, ashley was always trying to one up me but she couldn't really 'cause she has never played soccer, but she was not too bad.
"okay ladies, huddle up!" coach yelled.
"so on this list, i will be naming who's on the team... okay?" she started to read the names and ashley made the team which made me a little mad, but whatever.
"okay and as for our captain, we have the lovely naomi."
"that's my best friend, yeah she team captain." caitlynn yelled making me laugh.
