To Be At Starlight ON HOLD, RE-WRITING

Chapter 1

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've ever logged into Wattpad. I was surprised at how the books I've made gotten some attention and I'm really grateful for that. Seeing that motivates me to continue this book. This book was originally going to be book 2 from the previous Aarmau fanfic I made but looking back it was all over the place and at the time I really didn't know what I was writing? So I wouldn't look right if I had based it on what happened in the other book if that makes sense. So I have decided to start this book over. So if you're new, here's the better version of what I had before, and if your someone who follows me already and has read what I had before, I'm sorry you had to read that nonsense. Hopefully, this would make up for it. I hope you guys enjoy <3

It almost felt like I was dreaming. It was finally coming to reality. I finished packing my things to head out to the airport to meet Aaron's parents along with the rest of the crew. I was finally going to be at Starlight Wonderland. I know that may sound childish but, it's somewhere that I've wanted to go for a long time. So this was a huge deal for me. I grab my phone looking at the time. We have to leave soon, but Aaron is still getting ready in the bathroom. I sigh and make my way to the bathroom. I hear the sink water running so maybe he was just brushing his teeth? I knock lightly on the door. 

"Aaron, you know we have to leave soon right?" I say leaning on the wall next to the door. I start to look at the pictures we had up on the wall. I missed high school. It was the best experience I've ever had. I regain focus on what I was here to originally do, which was getting Aaron to hurry up in the bathroom so we can leave. I knock on the door once more, a little harder this time.

"Aaron," I say taking a breath after. "We need to-" 

I startle at the door opening, revealing Aaron dressed comfortably in a black hoodie along with black sweatpants. Looking up at him I get lost in his eyes. His beautiful midnight eyes. I felt heat creep up my face as he lowers to my level. Inches away from my face, he gives me a warm smile. He smelled like that rich cologne that his dad got him as a Christmas gift. It smelt really nice. His hair was a little messy but it framed his face well. He looks down at my lips and meets back up to my eyes. I know I'm a blushing mess right now. He kisses me on my forehead and turns off the running sink water before turning back to me.

"Aph, I know we have to leave soon don't worry," He says moving a few strains of hair that fell loosely in front of my face. "If you're in a hurry to leave then, go down to the car and I'll bring our stuff. I just need to put on my shoes, and we'll be on our way."

I smile and nod my head in response. I walk back to our room grabbing the car key off the dresser along with my phone. Before walking down the stairs, I look back at the bathroom seeing that it was cracked open a little. I see Aaron admiring himself in the mirror while also fixing himself up. I giggle and head downstairs. I grabbed a brownie that Aaron and I made and quickly closed the container before leaving the house completely. I get to the car and eat the brownie happily before receiving a call from Katelyn. I stuff my face with whatever was left of that brownie and answer.

"Hey, Katelyn what's up?" I say looking out the window of the car. "Mhm. I see, well just get that sorted out and maybe we might arrive at the airport at the same time."

"Alright, bye Katelyn!" I said hanging up seconds later. I sigh looking down at my lap. What if we don't make it on time? I feel my heart ache. I've been waiting practically my whole life for this moment. I shake the thought away and think positively of the situation. I pick my head up and look back towards the house. Aaron is seen carrying our things and walking towards the car. I smile wide and get out of the car to help. I run up to him and snatch one of the suitcases from him and drag it to the trunk.

"Aphmau you don't need to help me," Aaron says laughing a little. "Go back in the car babe."

I huff in frustration. This suitcase was heavier than I thought. I open the truck and attempt to put it in the car. Aaron on the other hand stands there laughing at me struggle to put this thing in here. I glare at him and pout.

"Help me! This is your heavy suitcase after all." I say folding my arms. "Please,"

"Alright, I'll help." He says putting the other bags in before the heavy one. "And just so you know, this is your bag Aph."

I look back at the suitcase and see the tag on the handle. I felt so embarrassed and covered my face with my hands. Aaron moves my hands from my face and grabs me by my waist pulling me close. He looks down at me looks down at my lips again before back up to me. He comes in close kissing me softly. I wanted more but we had to get going. As if he was reading my mind he whispers in my ear. 

"Maybe when we land at starlight, we can have some alone time." He says sending a warm chill down my spine. He pulls away releasing his hold from me. "Go in the car. We are heading off." 

I jump up in the excitement and make my way back to the front seat. I grab my phone from my pocket and text Katelyn letting her know we are on our way. Seconds later, Aaron gets in the car grabbing the keys I had in the cup holder, and starts the car. He looks at me and smiles.

"You ready?" He says grabbing my hand and squeezing it a little.

"Ready as I'll ever be!" I say looking at him smiling widely.

After that, we drove off. Finally on our way to Starlight.
