Your PoV
I was sleeping peacefully when I heard a small voice calling for me
"Y- Y/N.."
I opened my eyes to see Lia. She was shaking me cutely and I only notice she was whimpering. I shot up and moved closer to her.
"Y/N, I'm s-scared.." She said that made me confused for a moment before we heard loud thunder. She jumped and covered her ears so I warmly embraced her.
"I'm sorry I didn't wake up earlier, I'm so sorry." I said as I wiped her tears.
"N-No. it's not your fault." She said as she wrapped her arms around my waist tightly. She nuzzled her head on my neck before saying, "I'm sorry, I just hate the thunder...It was so loud so I got really scared.."
"It's okay. I'm here." I said softly as I rubbed her back in a comforting matter.
Her hug got tighter as the thunder continued going off. I held her face between my hands and pecked her lips gently.
"Just look at me, babe." I said so she opened her eyes and stared into mine. We immediately got lost in each others eyes that made Lia relaxed in my embrace and smile softly.
Suddenly, her eyes got sleepy so I closed her eyes and whispered,
"Goodnight, Lia." I said before kissing my girlfriend forehead.
"I'm so lucky for having you.." She said before she finally fell asleep.
