dimension skimming was a lot like channel surfing

you change constantly, one to another, get a quick glimpse, the move on to the next

that's the easy part, however, when they had tried every reality they could reach, with no results, they were forced to return home, it was a day full of disappointment, they were no closer to being rid of the creature, let alone know what they look like, they finally resorted to asking someone they knew would know the answer, their mother had been around the block, and a few other worlds, they guaranteed it, so they had to get her help finding whatever this thing was, they left Lisa's room, and after a quick status update was given to Lisa and Levi, they went downstairs to their mom, she sat in bed, like usual, she was reading a book, Lynn sr was also in bed, on his phone looking at his restaurant reviews

"Hey mom, can you come upstairs for a few minutes" lynn sr stood up, and looked at his wife "don't worry about it honey, I've got it," he said, going to their doorway, as soon as he reached the living room, he stopped, took a quick look at the interdimensional clones of his children, and passed out, Rita looked up, saw her husband, and looked at her children

"that bad, huh," she said, standing up and going to Lynn sr, she grabbed him under the armpits, and dragged him to their bed, she struggled to get him onto the bed, and  when she did, he just fell off the edge

"I'll just leave him like that, I can tell by the interdimensional clones that this is serious" she sighed, going with them back to Lisa's room

"So basically, lincoln switched places with his interdimensional clone, and then lucy went to a different dimension to get him, and some of Linka's brothers, and you are trying to kill this creature, but don't know how to get to him, so you want to know if I can help you figure out where he is, because I've been a vampire longer than anyone here, and while you were at it, you let Lisa and Levi find out too" she spoke, digesting the information as she repeated it

"Yeah, do you have any idea where we can find this guy" lincoln asked

"yes, unfortunately, I do, lincoln, do you remember that man we saw at the walk-in clinic when you found out you were a vampire

"is that him, he's on our planet" lincoln asked

"yes, he is, but I don't want you to go out looking for him, he's incredibly dangerous" rita said sternly

"what'd he do" lincoln and linka asked simutaniously

"Nothing yet, but that spiecies only goes places to wreak havoc on them, and will not stop untill it get's what it wants, or it's dead" she spoke

"well, where would it be if it's still on earth" lori asked

"I'm not talking you out of this, am I" rita asked

"nope" lint said, clearly wanting to fight something

"he'd be near in a public space, like a park, or  a school, they cant stand closed spaces, even being in a room will freak them out" rita said

"is that why these creature choose to roam across dimensions" lisa asked

"yes, the emptiness of space calms them, and the calmer they are, the stronger they are, if you arent killing it, for whatever reason, tryto weaken it, then cram it into the tightest space immaginable," rita replied
