John's eyes fluttered open as the light of the day came through the massive windows. He sat up and pulled a blanket off him. He went in to check on Rosie and saw Sherlock there. "Good morning" he said and sat on the bed. "I hope you slept well" Sherlock said as he looked over to him. "Like a baby, but my neck feels really swore" he responded. "I should have taken that into consideration" Sherlock said. "Sherlock we should talk" John started. "I think we should move into the same room" Sherlock interrupted. John looked on dumbfounded. "I thought you didn't want to" John said in a asking tone. "Well I think that Rosie takes up a lot of space in this room and that's not fair for you. I also think that if we are engaged we should probably at least sleep in the same room" he explained as he avoided eye contact. "Sherlock, dont think you have to do this just because we're engaged!" John replied. "I'm not John, I promise" Sherlock said quickly in response. "Ok" John simply said then got up to leave. "Sherlock, I love you" He said and kissed him on the cheek before leaving.

When John left the flat he saw Jenny and casually waved to her on his way out. Sherlock was upstairs minding Rosie and went to grab himself a cup of tea. He walked down into the main flat and noticed the door was open. He thought nothing of it and walked over to the kitchen, telling himself he would close it when he got back. He started the kettle and stood there, waiting for it to heat the water. Suddenly he had something shoved at his face and was losing consciousness. Before he did he saw one of the cards placed on the counter. Then black.

John was walking home from getting some shopping and thought about how amazingly lucky he was, the one and only consulting detective Sherlock Holmes was his fiancee. He was so proud of Sherlock and the fact that he was actually trying to make sacrifices for their relationship and Rosie. He reached the same door of 221B and opened it. As he started to climb the stairs he could see the door to the flat was wide open. "Sherlock?" He asked as he walked into the room. "You there?" He continued as he looked into his room and the bathroom. "You're not up here, are you?" He added as he peaked into the room were Rosie was thankfully sleeping safe and sound.

He walked into the kitchen, unsure of what to do next. That's when he saw the card. It was sitting on the counter, M side up. He picked it up and looked at it. "It's up to you John to find your precious detective before he meets the same fate as the last person you loved" he whispered out as he read the card, cutting off as he read the end. He took out his phone and called Lestrade. "Sherlock's been kidnapped!"

Greg was at the flat in a matter of minutes and had a small team with him. "Is this even our division?" Phillip Anderson complained as he walked up the stairs. "He is our friend" Greg replied. "Sure" Sally said as she rolled her eyes. They walked in and saw John in his chair reading and re-reading the card. "Greg you're here" John said and the detective inspector could tell he was worried. "Can you tell us what happened?" Greg said and tried his best not to sound uncaring. "I wasn't gone for long, I just went to get some food in and when I came back he was nowhere to be seen" John said. "I found this" he added and showed him the card. "Donovan, Anderson make yourselves useful and look for evidence, fingerprints or anything that could help us find him" Greg said as he looked at the others. "It would probably be better if we give them some room to work" He then said looking to John. John nodded and stood up to follow greg into the living room.

They sat there in silence as Greg tried to think of a way to ease John's pain. He too was worried for the detective. "We'll find him John, I'm sure of it" he said but he wasn't so sure. "How, we have no evidence other than the card and Sherlock is the only one who could solve something like this!"  John said angrily. "I should check on Rosie" he said and got up to walk out the door. Greg got up to see how Donovan and Anderson were doing. John walked into the room and sat on the bed. Rosie was awake and looking at him. He looked at Rosie and hugged her. He felt lost without Sherlock. "Dada who are the people downstairs?" She asked. "They are here to help don't worry, do you want to come down and say hi?" He asked. She nodded and they went downstairs.

"Rosie, you're getting so big" Greg said as he saw her. "Gavin" Rosie said as she waddled over. John almost bust out laughing and Greg was unimpressed but was happy to see John smiling. "We found something!" Sargent Donavon called. They all went downstairs to see her holding the card. "We already knew about that" Anderson said in a condescending tone. "No it's another one" she explained as she handed it to Greg. He read it out loud "You to seem to be having some trouble so I'll help you. Two weeks booked for Sherlock and then his fate is sealed".
