Just A Kiss

Chapter 1

I should wake up now! This is all my imagination!" I said as i wake up from a terrible nightmare that I lost everything because of some guy.

I woke up in sweat and darkness fill the room. I turned on my lamp and wiped the tears in my eyes, I looked at my clock and it was 5:24 am, I got up and washed my face with water and went downstairs. I noticed the mansion was still dull I can honestly say im still terrified of that dream. What if it really happens? Like de ja vu?

I went into the fridge and grabbed some milk and my cat Purdy came up on me purring. Its 5am and I really dont want to go to bed. i went upstairs again and changed into my sweat pants and a loose shirt and put on my sneaks and tied my hair into a ponytail. I went outside the house and everything was calm.. Its almost dawn I can almost see the sun is about to pop out any minute. I put on my headset and began to jog.

After my jog I went to the nearest Starbucks and grabbed black coffee with waffles to match. I took out my iphone and I recieved two text messages from my boyfriend Caleb who is the CEO of one of the largest companies in America. I texted him where I am and I just waited for him for like five minutes and he finally arrived

Hey babe" Caleb said as he plants a kiss on my lips

How are you? " He added

Im good. I just had a weird dream last night" I muttered

Babe, Those are just dreams.. They aren't real" he says while drinking a cup of coffee

Caleb, C'mon" i said sounding a little annoyed

Okay, okay what is your dream all about? Im glad to hear all about it" he says sarcastically

I had a dream about a guy and I gave everything up for him. My wealth, my car, and my house" I said

Caleb starts to laugh

What's funny?" I said

Nothing. Its just that you dont have to give up everything on me" He said staring at my eyes

Yeah, your right. its just a dream whatever." I said

Wanna get outta here? I have a meeting by nine o' clock" he said

Yeah okay." I said as I grab my bag and went out

Caleb opened the car door for me as I enter an old woman came up to me and asked for some coins

Ew! Get the hell away from me! You stinking pig!" I grunt angrily and pushed her away from me

As we were inside his car I looked for alochol and something to disinfect that old woman's germs on me. Caleb gave me a wet wipe and I wiped of the dirt that got stuck in my hand. Caleb, dropped me off my office as I work as one of the higly known fashion designers.

Goodmorning Miss Miller" My secretary Angelou greeted me

Morning. Do I have meetings today?" I asked

Not at all. But your sister Clarice called here" She said

Oh my gosh! She did? When? And what did she say?" I asked

Yesterday right before you went home. And she didnt say but she says its urgent.."

Okay, So can I have her number? The one that she used to call here.."

She said that she will be the one to call." Angelou said while fixing my desk

Minutes later my secretary Angelou came up to me

Miss Miller. Your sister is calling from Atlanta" she said

Okay thank you. Now you can go away" i hissed

Hello?! Clarice? Damn! Its been a long time! I missed you so much!" I said

Hello? Abby? I missed you too! You know Jason right?" She asked

Yes! I do the guy whom you dated since highschool? What about him?"

Exactly. How would you like to be my maid-of-honor?"

What?! Your getting married?!"

Yes! I will be marrying Jason at our old family house in North Carolina."

Oh. Okay! Gosh so sad mum and dad aren't here"

Yeah. I know. But im glad that your gonna be by my side at my wedding day"

Of course ! Thats the least that I could do. After all these years"

Thank you Abby! Your the best. I gotta go I have to get back to work"

I love you too" Clarice said and hung up

I am so delighted about what I knew! My sister is getting married. She finally found the man who will take care of her for the rest of her life. I cant wait to go back to my old family house that we inherited since my mum and dad died. Its like going back to my childhood years and makes me like a kid again.

I finally booked a plane going to North Carolina. I cant wait to see my old friends and this lake that I used to play when I was six with my father. Its Friday! But I could booked a plane going to North Carolina tomorrow.

Hey babe" Caleb said as he came out of nowhere

Hey." I said

Whats with this?" He asked

I called my personal assistant to pack up all my clothes for tomorrow"

Tomorrow? For what?"

I'll be flying to North Carolina tomorrow! My sister is getting married!"

Wow. Thats great! Want me to come with you?"

Nah. I just want to be there alone. You know to spend an alone time by myself. I havent been there since highschool so"

Okay. Okay when is the wedding anyway?"

Maybe a couple of weeks away from now" I added

Okay. Just text me or call me okay? I'll be going there two days before the wedding"

I finally went home and pack and slept. I cant wait to go back to my hometown
