Chapter 3

It was a rainy morning. I can see Andrew working outside the barn. Eventhough its pouring rain very hard he still cant stop working I went downstairs and grabbed an umbrella and went at him

Hey!! Are you crazy?" I shouted at him

No! I have to finish my work!" He grunts

No! Go inside the house Andrew! Are you trying to get sick?"

He went down the ladder and went with me inside the house. We were soaking wet I handed him a towel and he wiped himself and took off his shirt. I went upstairs and put on some dry clothes. I went to the kitchen and prepared two hot cocos

Here, make yourself warm." I offered

Thank you Abby" He said

Yeah. Sure dont mention it"

He smiled

Hey. I would like to ask you. Why are you always crying?"

No im not"

Yeah right! C'mon Andrew. Tell me I can keep a secret"

I had a kid named Johnny." He said stammering

Oh. Where is he?" I asked

He pointed up and I realized that he got a kid that died thats why he was crying everynight. I pat his back and comforted him as he began to cry again. I feel so sorry about Andrew. I know I just met him a couple of days but I cant resist looking at him hurt and sad.

C'mon get up!" I said trying to cheer him up

What?" He asked

I turned on my ipod and put on a dance music as I began to take his hand and danced through the beat of the music he puts his hand in my waist and we began to sway and he begins to laugh and I started to giggle. And our eyes finally met, my olive eyes met through his sexy grey eyes. A slow song starts to play and we began to dance slow and slower until I lay my head in his chest. We danced until the rain stops

I'm sorry" i said

No. Its cool.. Thank you for cheering me up" he said

Yeah. Thats the least thing I could do eventhough I was so rude to you. You still managed to be kind to me"

I dont judge a book by its cover Abby, Because I dont judge a person on the outside. What matters to me the most is the warmth of their heart"

Our eyes meet again and he finally lets go of my hand and he went out outside of the house. I was touched by the words of Andrew he was so much different with Caleb. He was so mysterious I bet this guy got a lot of problems besides losing his kid. I would help him every step of the way.

Its 7pm and I cooked lasagne I went inside the barn and looked for Andrew to invite him to dinner. I saw him standing by the moonlight by the light.

Come have dinner with me" I said interrupting him

He looked and smiled at me.

We walked by the moonlight under the stars and I can feel the wind passing through my hair.

Want some of these peas?" I offered

Sure. I cant believe a girl like you knows how to cook" he says

Of course! My mum used to teach me how to cook since I was twelve."

No wonder every dish you prepared are so delicious"

Yeah right. Just eat now Andrew"

We both laughed and drank wine together. After that he grabbed the plates and washed them as I was grabbing for the sponge our eyes met again and we stared at each other for a long time. He started to grab my waist and puts his hand in my cheek and our lips meet. He kissed me and I kissed him back. This kiss makes me feel like home and telling me to stay here in my hometown forever and never going back. I put my hand at the back of the nape of his neck and we kissed and he lifts me up. I dont know what I feel about Andrew. Seems like he got this magic that made me trap under his spell

I'm sorry It was unexpected" I said

It wasnt unexpected to me."

Why?" I asked

Because for me since the first time I saw you I wont expect things unexpectedly."

I kissed him again and he kissed me back and we started to laugh

Its getting kind of late Miss Miller" He said

I know. See you tomorrow?" I said

He kissed me and lets go of my hand and went to the barn. This night was magical. More magical than Im with Caleb . These were the nights I wont forget I would like to see what happens in the next few days im here with Andrew. Im falling for Andrew

I woke up at exactly 7am and I went downstairs. I was surprised to see there was an omelet prepared on the table with a dozen of fresh roses picked in the garden. As I was about to sit Andrew came out of nowhere and plants a kiss on my cheek.

You prepared these?" I asked

Yes. Only for you. No one else"

I sat down and ate the omelet as Andrew poured coffee in my favorite mug. I gave him a smile and after our breakfast we went outside and enjoyed the weather which is a nice time to take go canoeing by the lake. Me and Andrew grabbed some stuffs and went canoeing. I stared at him and looking at him makes me feel whole again and makes me feel like home. Everytime im at his side I feel so secure

I love canoeing" he said

Yeah. Its my first time" I said

What?"

Yes. I was scared going canoeing. Kristoff and Clarice went canoeing with my Dad while I was just in my treehouse staring at them"

Bummer. But now you expirienced canoeing!"

I giggled and I realized the time I spend with Andrew is timeless I would go canoeing with him day or night. I just wanna be with him. I feel like im a new person because of him. I know we just met a few days but it doesnt take a year or a month for me to fall in love with him because everytime I see him everyday I fall in love even more.

So have you heard about this dance? Want to go with me tonight? No more dinners in your house. How about a dinner outside?" He said

Oh. A dance?! It would be so fun! Yes! Lets go to that dance. What time will it start?"

5:30pm. And there would be fireworks"

What time is it?"

5pm!" He said

Ohh! We should hurry back! We should change now."

After arriving I hurry upstairs and look for a perfect dress to wear tonight. I picked out this peach colored dress with a bow in the back, curled my hair and put on a head band , put on my Christian Louboutins and went downstairs I saw Andrew wearing a pale blue colored long sleeves and black slacks to match. He looks handsome and I fell in love more with him.

You look beautiful. Beautiful as ever" he said as he take my hand

We walked through town and I saw alot of people staring at us. I really dont care what people may think about Andrew but what matters most is that im in love with him. We sat at this table for two and a slow music began to play and he asked my hand for a dance. We danced slowly as I looked above I can see that were dancing under the stars with someone I love everything is perfect. Just perfect.

I love you Abby" he whispered to my ear

I love you too Andrew" I said to him face to face as we kissed there were fireworks and the people began to applaud. We began to have a walk in the beach as I carry my shoes while we walk in the sand and feel the cold breeze of the wind. Andrew puts his arms around me and kissed my forehead. We finally went home, we went inside the barn and we began to kiss as he untangles the ribbon of my dress and kissed my neck as I kissed him back. As we made love. Tonight. Everything was perfect, more than perfect
