I was almost always in my work uniform... now where was I? Oh yes, I remember now...
It was July 1st, 2014. When I got into work it seemed... quiet. It was never quiet, at least, not this quiet. Normally I can hear the yelling from the conference room all the way from the second floor, but today you couldn't even hear the room from outside the room.
When I got up there I entered the room and sat where I normally sat. I noticed there were some empty seats, the ones belonging to Pain, Sadness, Anger, Hatred, and Nerves. As everyone got seated I leaned forward and asked Love "Hey, what's going on here? why is it so quiet", and she told me "Word has been moving around the office that Nerve is going to fire someone."
Those 5 chairs were still empty. Mind security entered the room, end the captain stood next to Nerve's seat and announced "You may be wondering why Nerve and a couple of others are not here, well, that's because they have been found dead in Mister Nerve's office," everybody gasped, "and we believe it was someone in this building. Unfortunately, we have no proof on who it could be, but because of this there is going to be a vote on who will be the new CEO."
Everyone looked at each other and back at the captain intrigued "The rule for voting is you cannot vote on yourself".
After everybody put a name in the box the captain brought in, the captain cleared his voice and announced "We have a tie! the tie is between (Ironically) Pride and Humbleness!" everyonein the room clapped and the captain continued "The vote for CEO will be in 3 days, so work hard and think about which of these two you would want as your CEO."
As everybody went back to work Love approached me and said "I hope you win, I don't want Pride to become my boss".
