"Alright, alright! Everyone settle down. We need to check to see if everyone is here. Please go to your homerooms, check in with your teacher, and we'll see everyone in the morning. Stay safe and within the proximities of the designated areas. I do NOT want anything happening to any of you. We will be going on a trip tomorrow morning bright and early, so you will be awakened at nine AM. Thank you, that is all," Said Vice Principal Kane.

She was helping the teachers out with everything. We all lined up according to homeroom and signed in. When all of that was done, Emma and I got our key cards to our hotel room.

"We're do going to a party tonight. I did my research and I found out where the hottest club for our age group is. It's called Club 21. For ages sixteen to nineteen only! Why is everyone naming everything after 21?" Emma said.

"I think it's because we're in the twenty first century."

"Oh! That makes perfect sense!" she said with her eyes popping out.

"Well duh, should of have a V8." I said hitting her upside the head.

"Hey! Not cool!" she said cracking up.

"Well, if we want to make it out anytime soon, we should go get dressed, like now."

"To the room!" Emma said running and pointing her arm outward. Remind me again, why are we best friends?

Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom. This place was the greatest! I was completely in love! Ethan and Olivia came with us too, of course. The music was blasting, there were people everywhere, and EVERYONE was having an amazing time.

"Let's go get something to drink!" I yelled at Emma.

"What?" she yelled back.

"Let's get something to drink!" I yelled even louder.

"Okay!" I took her arm and we made our way over to the "bar". Everything here was alcohol free.

"I'd like two virgin piña coladas please," I told the "bartender". I straightened up a bit. Out of the corner of my eye it felt like someone was watching me. I turned my head and no one was there. Huh, weird. Probably nothing. Emma and I paid for the drinks and walked toward a table.

"So, what's going on with you and Ethan? You guys have been pretty inseparable tonight," I said.

"Ugh, I hate Ethan. he sucks!"

"But, you like him."

"No. No I do not. It's Ethan for crying out loud."

"Em, it's me you're talking to. I know you're lying." She just put a hand over her face.

"Well, it's just complicated, Haley. I don't want to like him. It's Ethan."

"I think Ethan's pretty cool. You know he likes you."

"Yes, I know." Right on cue, Ethan came walking to our table with his hands behind his back.

"Emma, close your eyes."

"What, why?" she said.

"Just close them," he said.

"Why? What are you going to do?" she was so stubborn.
