Elizabeth's POV:
"Alright girls, come in," I said, holding the door open for Ashley and Brynn. I was trying to stay strong for their sake, but inside I was breaking. My baby is in a coma. She might not wake up. She probably won't wake up.

Mothers are supposed to protect their children at all costs. But she isn't my little bumblebee anymore. She's an adult. No, she'll always be my little bumblebee. Alive or dead. Alive. She won't die. She can't die. I couldn't live without my little girl.

I told Ashley and Brynn to go take showers and rest. I comforted them. Told them everything would be okay. Would it, though?

can't blame a girl for trying... oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh, no oh..

I picked up my phone and answered it. Yes, one of Sabrinas oldest songs is my ringtone. I guess it always reminds me of how far she has come.

"Cayla?" I asked.

"Are you holding up okay mom?"

"Yes." I lied.

"I don't believe you. Can I take the girls for a little while? I think you need some time to yourself."

"I think you're right."

"I'll be there in a few. Love you, mom. And don't worry, I know Sabs. She won't leave us like this."

"I know," I lied again.
