My high school story

Midnight

/I know that uh starting with the I wake up will start to get annoying or is already annoying so uh I'll try to stop doing it with every single chapter/

I couldn't help but wake up to the sweet smell of pancakes.

I bolted up out of bed and started to get ready.

I throw on my shirt and skirt then go into the bathroom to brush my teeth.

"Solar?" I heard miku say as I rush to brush my teeth

"What's the rush?"

I mumble 'pancakes' but I guess it couldn't be heard.

I gurgle the water then spit it out in the sink as I hurriedly wipe my mouth and make my way down stairs.

I go down into the kitchen to find Noah cooking.

"Breakfast?" Noah asks

"Yup!" I smile but then suddenly frown

"Noah?...."

"What is it?" He says his eyes not moving away from the food.

"Are there more scars on your wrists?" I say in a quakey voice.

He then quickly rolls his sleeves down. "Sorry....."

I just keep sitting there silently.

Akobo then walks in.

"Aren't you seeing the therapist?" Akobo asks in a frustrated voice.

"I....." Noah just trails off.

"It's not that simple akobo...." I say my voice still quakey

"But he can't go on like this!" Akobo shouts angrily.

I just put my head down.

Noah comes over to the table with two plates of pancakes in his hands.

"Pancakes?" He asks akobo while smiling.

Akobo sits down.

"Thank you Noah...." I say

"No problem" he says while smiling.

Lupin also walks in.

"Don't fake a smile Noah..." he says sounding a bit upset.

Noah frowns then saying "sorry..."

Akobo bangs his hands on the table as he stands up from his chair "STOP APOLOGIZING IF IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT!"

"Akobo calm down!" I shout

"NO I WONT CALM DOWN IM NOT JUST GONNA STAND AROUND WHILE MY LITTLE BROTHER GOES THROUGH THESE THINGS!" He shouts.

Noah then pulls on akobo's sleeve saying "it's ok akobo...."

"Solar you should get going" Lupin says

"Alright..." I finish up my pancakes and head out.

Soon enough we go to home room.

Then first period.

Second.

And third.

*lunch*

I walk over to lunar and Myra as I listen in to their conversation.

"So how was your weekend?" Lunar asks Myra. "You didn't really seem your self earlier"

"Oh haha I got raped by midnight" Myra said in a jokingly way.

I didn't take it as a joke. My face turned to shock. I could feel my blood boiling a deep rage inside me. "I couldn't even protect her" I say in my head letting my anger consume me rather than start crying.
