Tyler's pov

I was standing in a box.

The Box.

I banged on the walls.

"No. Not again." I said firmly, smacking my clenched fists on the wall.

"N-not again.." I felt my body weakening, the Box draining my power.

"PLEASE! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!" I screamed, over and over, and over til my voice ran out.

I crumbled to the ground, my body weakening further.

"P-please, B-Brandon.."

Fool. What makes you think he would ever love you?

"Uh- I, I-" I stuttered.

That's right. You're broken, that mark will never bring you happiness.

I woke up, gasping for breath.

I sat up quickly, kicking off the blanket and whimpering, my wings spread.

I felt the tears stream hotly down my cheeks, my throat felt dry and itchy.

My emotions running wild from the awful nightmare, my wrist started pulsing.

A knock at the door.

My brain connected the knock to my wrist, meaning it was Brandon at the door.

I wanted to run, hide, never look at him again, my fins pressed back firmly.

I felt like I was gonna throw up, I scrambled to stand, feeling the queasiness in my stomach.

I stumbled over to the bathroom, emptying my stomach into the toilet.

The light was very bright, and I felt like I was going to pass out.

I couldn't catch my balance and fell, making a loud thud as I landed on my wing.

My ears were ringing, it was too bright, and I could feel the vague pain in my wings.

The last thing I remember after that was someone yelling my name...

Anï's pov

I was walking back to the hotel when I got a call from Brandon.

"Hey, what's u-"

"Where are you?" Brandon yelled.

"Jesus! So loud, I'm walking back, why?" I pulled the phone away from my face and winced.

"I'm worried about Tyler, I knocked on the door and called his name, but all I heard was the toilet flushing and a loud thud." He said, he did actually sound pretty scared.

"Okay, okay, hang on, I'll be there in a minute." I said, speeding up my pace and ending the call.

I rushed down to the hotel, going up the elevator and running over to our room.

"Open the door!"

"What does it look like I'm doing Brandon?" I scolded, grabbing the card and sliding it through the scanner.

The door unlocked and I rushed into the room, quickly scanning the area and seeing the bathroom door halfway open.

I walked over, seeing a leg sticking out of the door, a couple feathers on the floor, my tail curled in between my legs.
