The New Girl

Introduction

Midoriya

I wake up to a big thud on my face. "Owww!!" I remove my pillow from my face. My mother had hit me with my pillow.

"Oh come on Midoriya! It's your first day!" She giggles, while my eyes widen.

"F-first day?! Of what?!" I rush up and stare at my mother in the eyes while she giggles.

"Have you forgotten that you have college?" She smiles down at me.

"I...i got into college?" I question while she laughs.

"Yes!!" She squeals "I kept the letter from you because I wanted to surprise you! We're going to go get you a dorm!" She starts to rush to my closet and see what I have. She picks out a white cropped shirt and some black jeans.

"Mother no! Put them back I'm not wearing that on my first day!" I demand her.

"Why? It'll look great on you! Plus you never wore something like this" she frowns at me.
I roll my eyes and I get up from my bed and untie my messy green ponytail. I look at my closet and find a light green jumper and black sweatpants, I turn to look at my mum who is a bit disappointed.

"I hope you find people that'll change your style soon..." she looks at the mirror with me.

"Gee- thanks mother.." I roll my eyes and hug her. "Let me choose your outfit!" I grab my stylish black glasses and we head to my mothers bedroom.

I grab a black outing dress and a black matching belt with some flat shoes. "Here!" I give my mother her clothing and her face brightens up.

"You have the fashion in you but...you never wear anything like this" she smiles as I roll my eyes at her response.
She gets dressed and I wait in her car. While I was sitting in the car I put on my converses. I grab my backpack and my laptop and open my laptop to find over 50 emails.

Hey! Midoriya! I'm so scared! What if we aren't in our classes at all! What happens if we drift apart? I'm scared without you, Midoriya you're my best friend and I don't want to lose you...
I love you Midoriya! I'll see you in class?

I sigh as I smile knowing that she cares for me.. while I type my replies I start to style my hair in a messy bun.

Hey Mina, relax yeah? Haha we aren't going to separate! And if we do I'll do something about it! You know I love you, you're my bestfriend! Don't worry about college, I'm sure it'll be fun! And I'll talk to the office if we don't have at least one class together. I hope you do great in college and I'm glad I have you with me.
Side note! have you seen the college?! I searched it up on google and it's fucking huge!

I shut my laptop as I send my email off. My mother gets in and she seems happier than usual. "Is everything alright? Should I be concerned that your smile is bigger than normal?" I giggle

"I'm just happy...my baby girl is growing up!" She starts to drop a few tears and I quickly panic to grab a tissue.

"No don't cry! Please...?" I beg her. "You know I hate it when you cry" I frown at her as she giggles

"These are happy tears my girl!" She starts the engine and she drives off to the college. I'm about 2 hours...

We get to the place and I get my dorm key and I quickly hug my mother goodbye before I leave her all on her own. I'm of course going to visit her! But..I just didn't feel comfortable without my mother...
