I was sent this song by one of my followers on Tumblr with the idea of our boi, Spiderman Noir in mind.
and boy! Do I love this song! Like seriously, I downloaded the song to make sure it was on my phone XD
But to the point of this post;
Listening to this song gave me the inspiration for a fic with Noir. I'd be taking the idea of the 'colour coded town' and making it literal. The Spider-gang or just Noir landing in your - the reader's - dimension. Where everyone takes a personality test at a certain age and in turn gaining the colour that will label them for the rest of their lives.
These colours are associated with someone's personality, the meanings that come with the colour also determine the possible careers someone could take up. Depending on the colour, you can wear black or write under your coloured clothing. But never grey, because society deemed that it doesn't fit with the colours. Everything is Black and White, there was not meant to be any grey.
But meeting a monochrome being, who gifts you with a grey flower, has caused you to start questioning the logic of your world while you grow to love the many shades of grey that this man has shown you. You also grow to love him.

That's literally the summary I'm basing it all on, cause I'm not gonna start planning it all until I get this bit of input.
So I took 6 colours and found the cluster of meanings associated with these colours and then I asked my friend to name some jobs based on the colours and their meanings.
