Dear Amy,
I went to your funeral today and sat with your father and sister. A lot of people from school came too. Even Mr. Rose and his new family attended and paid their respects. Everyone told us how wonderful you were and how deeply saddened they were that you were gone.
I heard almost no one attended Chad's funeral. Only Mrs. Rose was there, wailing and laughing maniacally over his coffin. Mr. Rose couldn't calm her down and his presence only made her more frenzied. In the end she had to be carried off and institutionalized.
I will never forget the time we spent together or the sacrifices you made for me. You will always have a place in my heart, dearest Amy. Now you finally know peace.
