Beach talk

I retreated to the beach to clear my mind. The milky whiteness of the moon looked so inviting and urged me to come closer to the shore. But as I got closer I saw the silhouette of a man and once I got close enough to view I saw that it was Rogue.

"Oh, Hey." He seemed rather surprised to see me.

"You sound surprised to see me out here." I sat down on the cool sand my but shivering upon impact.

He looked at me with a smirk and replied, "By the way you were moaning I thought you and Sting would be at it until dawn."

It took me a while to process what he had said and once I did my face turned as red as tomatoes. "WHAT! You heard" The smirk did not leave his face. "Yeah, the walls are paper thin. I was pretty entertained by your little speech 'Oh, Sting, now I'm all sexually frustrated and want you to fill every inch of me" he said mockingly, imitating my voice *inaccurately.*

I covered my face too embarrassed to make eye contact with him. "You must have had a lot of fun from all the moaning I heard." My hands slowly slid off my face and I was embarrassed. "We didn't do anything" My eyes refused to meet his. "Sure." Rogue laid down on the sand. "We've never done anything," I mumbled but he had heard me and he turned his head in my direction. His eyes glittered with amusement "You've never had sex. Wow! Why not?" I wish I could tell him why but I didn't know the answer myself. When I didn't speak Rogue spoke," If you're worried about it being bad don't be he's had a lot of lovers before and they all seem to enjoy it." I glared at him out of the corner of my eye. "You know just how to cheer me up thank you," I said sarcastically. "I'm not worried about it being good or not because I know it will be. I'm just... scared."

"Of what?"

"I don't know."

"Well it's mating season, he's going to be pouncing on you every chance he gets, so you better find out what it is."

"Yeah, thanks for telling me that when I asked you what was wrong with him," I said viciously.

"I thought it would be more entertaining this way," he responded

Suddenly, I remember that Rogue was a dragon slayer and so I asked a very daring question. "You're a dragon slayer, how do you.... relieve yourself?"

Again that glitter of intrigue that made him so charming appeared. "I have many women that entertain me." The memory engulfed my mind I had seen him walking out with another woman almost every day

I became curious and asked, "What do these women do?"

he held a smug look on his face and responded, "'Why do you wish to become one?" I playfully punched him in the shoulder while he chuckled. "I just want to know what men like?"

"What men would like or what Sting would like?" I refused to say anything but he took my silence as an answer.

"Sting does not want a gymnastics routine. In all honesty he probably just wants you." I took comfort in Rogue's words as they eased the pain I felt.

I couldn't help but ask, "And what do you want?"

"A gymnastics routine."

I went to Lucy's room which she shared with the girls and once I arrived I told them what happened.

"Wow, you have a lot more restraint than we thought." Lucy said the other girls nodded in agreement.

"It was going to happen and then I got scared and ran." I felt like absolute shit. I left him without even saying anything. "You ran y/n? Oh my God, that is the funniest thing I've ever heard!" They all began making fun me

"Should I go back?" I immediately regretted asking because that only made them laugh more.

"No, just stay here," Levi said while she confronted me. Before I went to sleep that night she gave me a book on Mating season. "It will tell you everything you need to know."

In the morning we all headed back to the guild. I sat in the last train where I knew it would be empty because whenever any of the girls looked at me they began laughing at me.

Rogue came and sat in the chair beside mine.

"Why are you here?" he asked

"I thought you would have heard by now but I'm the laughing stock of both guilds." I threw my hands up in defeat.

"Why?" I was shocked news had not spread faster to him.

I turned my body to him and said. "Because, yesterday when we were supposed to have sex... I" I took a deep breath before I could say more and then continued, "I ran." He bursted into laughter

"You ran?"

I closed my eyes as I described what happened, "When he turned around, I dashed straight for the door and never looked back." Rogue had not stopped laughing but after he stopped wheezing for air he finally responded, "You left that out last night."

"For a reason of course, I'm humiliated." Then I remembered Sting "Do you think he's angry?" If anyone should know it would be Rogue the two were practically brothers.

"He's probably embarrassed, upset, and worried about you." I sunk into the seat of the chair as my body slid against the cool leather. "Uhh, I'm sorry Sting." in my mind I already began making apology notes about how sorry I was and came up with the most excuses I could. I loved him with everything I could give and I need him to know that.

"How are you gonna make it up to him?" I knew what I needed to do but it was not out of obligation I wanted to give myself to him. I winked and smirked at Rogue trying to signal without having to say it.

"I don't get it."

I sighed and said, "I'm gonna have sex."
