Chapter 7

(Sera POV)

I was at the quidditch pitch waiting for Ginny. I had already started warming up doing small loops on my broom. I was starting to question if she would show up when "Hey Sera!" I turn around. Ginny's running down the field with her broom and her uniform. "Hey!" I answer back. "So do you want to start as the keeper and I try score against you or-" "Sure." She says. "Ok," I reply. I open the trunk that keeps the quidditch stuff and I grab the quaffle. Ginny is already at the hoop. I race around the pitch and I get into position to throw the quaffle. She suspects I'm aiming for the left and leans towards the left. Just as I'm about to throw the quaffle I swerve drastically to the right and throw it through the middle hoop. "Nice," she says. "Thanks," I reply. We do this for about an hour alternating between keeper and chaser then they just ride around on their brooms. By the time they were worn out, it was time for breakfast. "I'm starving," Ginny said exhausted. "Me too," I agreed. They walked into the Great Hall to find John, Harry, and Ron chatting amongst themselves. "Hey guys," Ginny greeted them. "Oh hey Ginny, hi Seraphina," Harry replied. We both sat down across from them. "So what were you guys doing?" John asks. "Oh, we were practicing quidditch." Ginny replies. "The tryouts aren't for another two weeks." Ron says."Well, never too early to practice." I chime in. "Are you going for a position on the team?" "Uh, keeper." Ron replies. "Oh, cool."

Back at the Ember headquarters, things were in swift motion. They had planned to send a spy in to scope out their plans. It was a student from Wellston so there wouldn't be any suspicion from the other Wellston students when he arrives. His name was Terrence. They had started working with him in his first year. His invisibility ability makes him the perfect candidate for the job. They would finally get to see what the brats were plotting against them.
