Pink

This was the week before my senior prom. I was 17 years old. I walked down the hallway with Luke, as usual. He grabbed my arm. I turned around to face him. "Remi Nelson, I really like you way more than a friend should like another friend. I don't have a date to the prom yet. Will you do the honors ,and go to the prom with me?" Luke said looking me in the eyes. My cheeks flushed a bright pink color. My heart jumped. "Of coarse, Luke!" I said engulfing him in a hug. We were very close that week. Finally it was prom night. My blonde hair was curled in spirals. I swirled in my pink gown. I felt like a princess. Luke made me feel like a princess. I'm madly in love with him. He stole my heart. Luke walked up to the door to escort me to his car. "For you, my lady" He says to me pulling out a beautiful bouquet of pink roses. I gasped ,and hugged him tightly. We talked the whole car ride. It felt pink. A warm, mushy feeling filled with love ,and laughter. We arrived at the prom. We talked with friends ,and had the best time. My head turned. Luke ,and I's song ran through the speakers, Jasey Rae by All Time Low.

Lights out, I still hear the rain

These images that fill my head

Now keep my fingers from making mistakes

Tell my voice what it takes to speak up, speak up

And keep my conscience clean when I wake.

The song echoed through the room. "Would you care to dance?" A voice said behind me, I knew it was Luke's. I smiled. This was my dream come true. I took his hand ,and we danced. I could feel his minty breath on my neck. My night couldn't go better than this. I remember dancing until the end of the night. It was perfect. I would replay it again. Everything was pink. It was perfect.
