Last time in The Shadress... ""But what a civilized way to do this. I thought things might get rough." Zane smirked at me. Stupid man. Now I know whose under the hood." Now in The Shadress...

I turned around to Vylad and Aphmau and whispered for them to go. As they left Zane looked to me with a worried expression. I turned to look at him. "You can unmask my brother now..." Zane tensed immediately. Along with Lillian and my brother. "What didn't think I would figure out who it was? The only person you know I would break my own rules against would be my brother. So why did you think it would be rough..?"

"I... Urm..." Zane looked worried and scared of what would happen.

I smiled darkly and snapped my fingers. Nothing happened in the basement so they all looked confused. "Zane... I do suggest leaving and coming back later WITHOUT my brother. And do it quickly." My brother took off his hood and drew his light sword. It works like mine but instead of having shadow magic it has light magic. He has H/C hair like me but he has mom's eye color instead of dad's. His eyes are silver. My eyes are e/c.

"What are you going to do? I'm pretty sure I would win a war if that's what you are declaring." Zane held his head high.

I laughed. They all looked at me like I was insane and my brother's stance dropped. "Did you forget I can control all shadows?" I cackled and they grew fearful.  My hair began to stand up to intimidate them. It was a show of power. "CURRENTLY I HAVE AROUND 50 SHADOWS SURROUNDING YOUR MEN! I WILL NOT HESITATE TO EXECUTE THEM ALL AND LEAVE YOU POWERLESS!" I calmed down and returned to a professional stance. "Now leave and think on who you're threatening."

They left before me in a hurried manner. As they left I turned to the window and looked out as they ran down the hill with their men and towards the gates of Phoenix Drop. A few minutes after they were out of my sight, Aphmau and everyone else came down the staircase. They tried to be quiet presumably to spy on me. "You don't need to hide the fact that you all came down here." I didn't even move a muscle and they all approached me.

"What did you do to make them all run out like that?" Aphmau asked. "And why did all of those shadow's appear around all of Zane's men?"

"Ah... About that..." I rubbed the back of my neck. I turned to face them. I surveyed who was all in the room right now. Everyone but Vylad. But I knew he was probably outside the window to hear the conversation. "I was furious with Zane for the masked man he brought down here was my brother..."

"Shouldn't you be excited to see your brother?" Laurence asked.

I let out a bark of a laugh. "No. He's tried to kill me before why should I be excited to see my brother when I don't even love him. I don't even really consider him my brother."

"What did you even say to make Zane run out like that?" Aaron asked.

"I told him how many shadows were surrounding his men. I told him that I wouldn't hesitate to execute all his men and leave utterly powerless. Then I told him to leave and think on who he was threatening." Then an idea popped into my head. I turned to face the window again and removed the shadows around my face.

"Why did your brother even try to kill you in the first place?" This time it was Garroth's turn to ask something.

"He is known as the Son of Light. I am known as the Daughter of Darkness. We're like Yin and Yang." Then I remembered that I haven't given the orb to Aphmau yet. She needs to remember what had happened there. "Aphmau come here please." She walked up beside me.

Before she could see what I looked like, I grabbed her arm and teleported to the tree house. She lost her balance and almost fell backward. I caught her and that's when she finally saw what I looked like. "Your shadows! They're gone!"

"Yes. I removed them. Come sit down." I walked with her over to a bed and sat her down upon it. I sat down in a chair beside the bed and pulled the memory orb out of my pocket. "This is a memory orb. All you have to do is touch it and you'll remember what is inside. You'll faint in the process but it is one of your memories."

"Alright." I handed her the memory and she fell back onto the bed. I made sure she was comfortable then stood and looked off the edge of the treehouse.
