The day started at ever after high like any other. The children of fairy tale stories were rushing to there lockers for there next class, grabbing things and stashing them in there bags, different colors were flashing ever were, people were walking and shouting. the hall was chaos, complete madness! Which is something a certain somebody loved.

A teenage girl burst out of a classroom, her bright blue and purple hair flying behind her as she ran through the halls, her arms flailing ever were, looking around for her friend. This girls name was Madeline Hatter, daughter of the Mad Hatter. Maddie stood on her tipy toes, scanning the hall. Hundreds of different heads could be counted, if you wanted to try and count them in this mess, which you wouldn't be able to. She spotted a raven and purple haired girl over by a locker, shoving books back in there places, looking a bit grumpy.

"Raven! Raven!" Maddie shouted as she ran over to her, holding out her hands as if she were a plane taking flight, people dodged her as she ran around, laughing. The girl she called Raven turned around, revealing green stuff splashed on her face, the daughter of the evil queen, with paint, some would find that funny. "Oo" Maddie said as she giggled, "what happened?" Raven sighed, shuting her locker. " I forgot to study for my test, and, you can guess the rest" Raven picked up her bag and put it on. "Oh! I see" Maddie said, still giggling. All the sudden her watch burst out, showing turning gears. "Tea time!" she shouted on cue, she pulled a table out from no wear along with a chair, sat down, and began to drink tea as if she'd down this every day, which she does. Raven smiled, looking down at her friend who was sipping tea. Something in Maddie's hair rumpled, and with a small squeak, a white mouse climbed out. Maddie grabbed him, smiling, and put him on the table. She sipped her tea some more, than her watch chimed again, telling her that tea time was over, so she quickly put the stuff away.

Raven and Maddie walked to there next classes, and, waving goodbye, they headed in separate directions. Maddie skipped through the hallway, humming to herself in a loud tune. She spotted bunny in the hallway, and waved, she waved back, and then went into her class room. Maddie skipped to her class, which was outside because she had P.E. As she walked out, she smelt the nice scent of green grass, a little watery, but that is what made it better, she trotted down to were the others were sitting. She sat on the grass with everybody else, moving her head side to side, clearly joyful. There teacher wasn't here yet, which is odd, considering that he was always there before the students. Someone walked out on the yard, but it wasn't there teacher. there hair was in a tight bun, her skin was sickly pale, but covered in something trying to make it less noticeable. She took each step proudly, holding her head up high. She stopped right before the students, taking a glance at each in turn, staring them down, down into their very souls, analyzing them like they were criminals or something. "Hello, children, I will be your new teacher for a few weeks, your normal teacher is currently sick, but he will be back with you shortly" she said, walking back and forth, looking at each teen as she passed. Some people turned their heads to look at their closest peer, whispering and murmuring. "poor Mr. Ginger" some of them were saying, others were excited to have a substitute, but then when they looked at her again, they were clearing rethinking. Maddie put her hands behind her, letting them sprawl in the bright green grass, letting her mouse crawl around in her head, causing her to giggle a little bit. "I am Mrs. Perason, and for the short time that i am here i want you to be on your best behavior" She took another long, hard look at every one. Then she turned around, facing the track. She straightened her back, then said in a harsh voice "do your warm ups, and after your done, go to the track." She walked over to the six trails that led in a circle.

"Gosh, doesn't she seem uptight" a voice said from behind Maddie. She turned around and saw kitty, with her bright lavender curls in two pigtails, brightly colored eyes, daughter of the Cheshire cat. Some sparkles were around her, so she most likely just appeared there. Her smile was bright and mischievous. Maddie smiled and gave her a tight hug. "I thought you were sick!" Maddie said as she looked at her childhood best friend. Kitty grinned "yeah, well, you know me, sickness can't keep me down forever" Maddie laughed at that "sure can't!" she said as she started to do jumping jacks. Kitty just stood there, then yawned, stretching. When everyone was done, they headed for the track. Maddie and Kitty walked step by step with each other, laughing about something Kitty said.

The bell rang, giving the signal for everyone to leave classes for the rest of the week, since it was Friday. Kitty was exhausted from there class, so she went up a tree to take a cat nap, purring lightly. "Bye bye! See you later!" Maddie said as she waved kitty, kitty gave a wave as well, but a more weak. Maddie skipped back to the school. Her pet mouse crawled on her shoulder, nudging her ear. Maddie pet her little friend, he rubbed up on her hand, clearly liking the attention. She laughed as she walked. Oh please, it's clearly the red one, A voice said from the sky, Maddie looked up. No, it's the yellow one! Said another voice. The narrators were having another stupid argument. Maddie frowned and sighed. She stopped in her tracks, and looked up, "Oh chimney crickets!" Maddie said in a loud irritated voice. "Can't you guys agree on anything?" She stomped her foot on the ground. "Oh, heh, sorry Maddie, carry on" She smiled and then begone to walk back up the stairs, happy that she didn't half to listen to them right now. She ignored the stairs she got as she walked back, or maybe she just wasn't paying attention, some of the new students weren't use to her talking to the sky like that.

Maddie yawned as she walked into her room, rubbing her tired eyes. Water splashing from the small little river in her and kitty's room, different colored mushrooms glowing next to it. She jumped in her bed, landing with a soft thud. She ruled some of her blankets over her, letting the sides fly to the end. She put her hands under her head, mumbled good night to her mouse friend, and then fell asleep and let the dream world take over.

She was back in wonderland. Clocks surrounded her, and books piled up in different shapes and sizes sat there, letting whatever pass it touch. Birds of books were flying around her, and so were small little walking fish. Maddie giggled, watching them all dance around and play. She looked down at her feet, a road was forming in front of her, it kept growing until it reached the horizon. She awed at her home, she didn't know how she was back, but she was happy. She started skipping down the road, laughing along with the other creatures. Then a small voice whispered to her,it was echoey, but it didn't sound like the narrators, so she looked over her shoulder. No one was there. She shrugged and continued to play with the other wacky wonderland animals. Then it whispered again, except more clear. "Maybe you should follow the trail" it said. "It'll be fun". Maddie laughed a little nervously. "Who are you?" she asked looking around to see if anyone was near here. "I'm your new best friend". Maddie looked around a bit confused, but then smiled. "Okay". She continued down the trail, Something was glowing bright at the end. As she got closer she had to put her hands over her eyes to keep them from burning. The thing was glowing lime green, illuminating the sky more and more as she got closer. "Closer" said the voice. It was saying it more urgently now, like it was excited to see what would happen. Maddie took another step, then.

"Maddie!" a voice shouted close by, she snapped her eyes open. She felt her legs moving, like they were a machine just suppose to do one thing. She looked around for the person who had woken her up, she was a bit drowsy, so her surroundings were blurred. "Raven?" Maddie said quietly, too tired to talk loudly. "What are you doing in my room". Raven looked at her friend with a concerned look. "Maddie, your not in your room, your out in the hallway". Maddie shook her head confused "what?" she asked, but then the features around her started to clear. She was in the hallway, but how did she get here? Raven helped Maddie stand, seeing that she was really tired, and looked a bit sick. She blinked a few times, then turned to raven. "How'd i get here?" she asked, her voice was raspy, like she hadn't drink-in anything in a while. Raven put her hand to Maddie's forehead, it was burning. "You slept walked, gosh, your running a fever, we should get you back to your room" she helped Maddie walk down the hallway. Maddie's legs felt weak, and they were burning, like she had been running in circles. Maddie looked down at the floor, her eyes droopy. "How'd you know to come find me?" She asked as she looked at Raven. Raven didn't answer right away, but then said "Your mouse came and was freaking out, so i followed him here, then i saw you walking around. I was kinda confused, you know? But then i saw that you were asleep. Funny, i didn't know you were a sleep walker" She finished as they made it back to Maddie's room. "I'm not" Maddie said at she rubbed her forehead, she had a huge headache that she didn't notice until now. "Then it's probably your fever, come here, lay down" Raven said as they walked into Maddie's and Kitty's room. Raven led her friend to the bed, and let her get back covered up. Kitty was sleeping soundly above her, purring after each breath. Maddie thanked Raven, and watched her leave, but before she did she stopped before the door. "I'll see if I can get the nurse to come check on you tomorrow" but when she looked at Maddie, she saw that she was fast asleep. Raven sighed, then left the room, leaving her friend to be golfed by darkness that was sleep.
