-The Phone Call-
(Watching tv) *phone rings*
"I don't want to talk to anyone"I thought to myself. It was a rainy day and I was exhausted. My boyfriend had just broke up with me. Everything in my life was upside down at this point. "I just need some me time" I said as I declined the call.
(two weeks later)
*Ding*
Who is this? I whispered in my sleepy voice as I reach to get my phone. I picked up the phone and read 200 voicemails from Gina. "Oh shoot" I thought for a moment. I had to call her back its been two weeks and if I didn't she would've come here and give me a whole lecture on my life which I of course wasn't looking forward to have. So I decided to call her back even though I knew what I had coming. She was going to flip.
*(Calling Gina)*
"Sigh" hello..? I said nervously
Anne? She said in a worried voice
Hey Gina, sorr...
ARE YOU OKAY? She quickly interrupted

Gina I'm fine! i shouted out of frustration.
No you not Anne you haven't been answering calls from any of us for the past weeks. Now tell me did he break up with you?
All of a sudden everything started to get distant. I was now in my own little space, a gloomy world a quite different atmosphere, careless, lighthearted, and self-satisfied. Completely zoned out. I didn't want to hear anything Gina had to say about Michael. I didn't want any memories to come haunt me again. I didn't want to lock myself up for another two weeks or more. I was ready to go out and enjoy life.
