I wince in pain as I slowly open my eyes. My entire body aches and everything seemed so dark.

I realize I'm in an unfamiliar bedroom and instantly begin to panic.

The clothes I'm wearing are far too expensive for clothes that I would own even for a casual dress.

I hop off the bed and everything seems like it's spinning around but I manage to step towards the door and climb down the stairs.

This house.. seemed so familiar.

Luca's house!

I hear voices coming from down the hall and follow it.

"Look, I'm sorry" an older frail man says with fear in his voice. He looked to be about in his 60s and was no bigger than me.

"I'll give you whatever you want," he says with his hands moving frantically. "Please don't kill me, Luca!"

I look straight ahead and Luca has a grim look on his face and as my eyes follow his hand, there's a gun.

"Marco," he says taking a step forward. "I told you, did I not?" He says towering over the man. "I told you what would happen if you ever tried to make a fool out of me or anyone in my family."

"I'm so so so sorry," the man says sobbing. "Please j-jus-"

"Please what?" Luca says setting the gun on the table. "Spare your life? Let you go home to your gorgeous young wife?" He chuckles as he folds his arms. "You know I can't do that, man."

What the hell was going on..

He lifts the gun up once again and just as quickly, there is a loud sound followed by the man falling to the floor.

"Oh my god," I whisper to myself.

A started Luca looks at the door and when our eyes meet, I wait for no reaction to start sprinting.

I don't know where I was going in this large house but I had to get away and fast before anything could happen to me.

I hear footsteps behind me and my adrenaline starts rushing as my feet feel like they aren't carrying me fast enough.

I turn the corner and finally see a door that leads to the outside. I push past it and continue running.

The image of the man bleeding on the floor and Luca standing over him keeps playing in my head as I run past the rows of fancy cars.

He was a killer.. he just killed that man as if it had no effect on him whatsoever. Who was to say what he would do to me to shut me up.

"Sophia" I hear a voice behind me but don't bother to turn around to see who it belongs to.

The only thing on my mind was getting away and getting away fast.

I dig in my pockets for my phone and a breath of relief is released upon finding it. My hands tremble as I dial 911.

"I'm being chased by men with guns, please please send someone to me," I beg on the phone.

"Ma'am, I can't hear you properly," comes a female voice on the phone. "Who is chasing you?"

"This this this man," I say still running. "He j-just shot and killed an older man and now they're chasing after me please help me. Please please please!"

"SOPHIA!" the voice chasing me says as it's getting closer. "Stop running!"

"Oh my God, oh my God he's right after me. Please sen-"

I hear a gun go off and fall straight to the ground.

"Please don't shoot me," I say trying to get onto my feet.

"Soph-"

"Don't touch me," I yell flinching from his reaches out hand.

A pained expression comes over his face.

"I can explain," he says closing his eyes.

"Explain what?! You just shot and killed a man and then, then," I say scoring away. "You shot a gun again just now."

"I shot that in the air to scare you and stop you," he says. "I would never shoot you."

I don't say anything as I stare into the grass. I feel something moving down my foot and only after touching it do I realize I'm bleeding.

"You're hurt," he says reaching for my foot.

I try to scoot back again but feel an overwhelming amount of pain.

He reaches for my leg again.

"Don't touch me," I whisper yell.

"Okay," he says sighing deeply. "Can you atleast please allow me to order you a cab to take you home or call your friend?"

After a long silence he shakes his head.

"Sophia.." he starts.

"Please just leave me alone, Luca," I say keeping my eyes on the blood running down my legs.

He stares at me for what seems like forever before standing up and walking away.

And as he walks, the gun hangs from his back pocket.
