The Unknown

Chapter One

I woke up to hear the shouts of a couple boys and a girl, probably around the age of 14 or 15, and the cold air on my bare arms. There was snow all around me and I couldn't remember a single thing expect the name Caroline. I don't know where I was or how I got there. I started to panic when I noticed people coming up to me, specifically 2 boys and 1 girl. The girl had platinum blonde hair and gray eyes and so did the boy next to her. The other boy had unnatural blue hair and silver eyes. The girl began to talk, "Who are you and how did you get here?". She was pointing a knife at me, and my mouth suddenly became dry. I couldn't speak or do anything but sit there in silence. That made her even angrier and she was about to swing the knife at me when one of the boys grabbed her wrist. "Arianna , stop you can't just try to strike every person that enters the kingdom." I started to wonder what he meant by 'you can't just try to strike every person that enters the kingdom' since there were only 3 of them present. "Who are you and how did you get here?" she repeated herself. I was scared I didn't know anything but my name. These people could kill me in a heartbeat and I couldn't do anything about it. "My names Caroline, that's all I know" when I looked up at them the boys looked confused and the girl looked like she was ready to strangle someone. "How do you not know how you got here, explain." I looked at her and said "I just woke up here and the only thing I can remember is my name... at least I think it's my name." She turned and looked at the boys behind her and sighed. "Follow me." she said reluctantly. After about 25 minutes of walking we went into a village. Now I understand what he meant. I reached out and grabbed a hold of the boy's , the one that saved me earlier, shoulder and pulled on it softly. "What's your name?" I didn't know anyones name so I thought I should ask. "Ethan. But you can call me your Savior." he winked playfully afterwards and started laughing. The girl turned around and glared at Ethan who quickly shut up afterward. "that's Arianna. She's the head guards daughter so she's kinda in charge of us. Beside her is Erik he can be cold at times. he's also her twin so I'd stay on their good side." I look at Ethan and smile. "thanks for the heads up." we continued to walk for a while but after a couple of minutes I heard a female's voice on a speaker. "Welcome to the winter kingdom." I looked over at Ethan in confusion and he smiled and started to explain "there's 4 kingdoms, the first is the summer kingdom. Second is the spring kingdom. The third is the autumn kingdom and then there's our kingdom which is the winter kingdom ." as he finishes explaining we hear Arianna speak. "I don't know why you don't have you memories but you have to meet the king and queen its protocol also," she rubs the back of her neck sheepishly " Im sorry for earlier I didn't know you so I thought you were an enemy." I look at the girl infant of me and smile "Its ok honestly you were just doing your job." she smiled back and turned around leading me to a castle. I follow behind looking around. Soon after, we enter the castle and I see a panting of a women and man with a baby that has wings and white hair with eyes that are light blue. "Who's that?" I say pointing to the painting. "That's the royal family. The women with the sliver hair and gray eyes Queen Marie Angelica and the man with platinum blonde hair and light blue eyes is King Jonny." I look at her then point to the baby "Who's that?" she looks down. "That's Princess Camiliea. She went missing the day after this painting was made." we keep walking but I stop when I see a mirror. For the first time since I've been here I was able to look in the mirror to see what I looked like. I see that I looked a mess. White hair everywhere like I was trying to escape some place and light blue eyes. At first i was astonished at the resettlement I had with the missing princess. I looked almost exactly like her except I didn't have wings and I looked older. I walked faster to catch up with Arianna. "How long has the Princess been missing?" The female looks at me sadly and responds with "14 years" soon we enter the throne room and I see the King and Queen.
