taehyung had begun to get more slow and more pale as time went on. so far, the only person who knew of his disease was seokjin, namjoon, and yoongi.

seokjin found out because he pressed questions when he saw taehyung throwing up more petals. namjoon found out because seokjin had told him. of course yoongi knew and had been trying to help taehyung every moment he could.

but, taehyung was stubborn and didn't want to lose feelings for someone he cared so much about. even though jungkook's main focus was jimin, the boy had seen taehyung's difference.

one day after all of their workouts, jungkook pulled taehyung aside, "hey hyung?"

even though taehyung felt weak he still felt the butterflies in his stomach and the slight happiness when his crush talked to him. he gathered himself together and looked the younger in the eye.

"yes kook? is there something you need?"

"uh yeah...hyung are you okay? you haven't been looking good lately."

taehyung's eyes widened in shock and he fumbled on his words. "y-yeah hyung im fine just a sickness."

it hurt him that he lied to the boy he loved so much. but it also hurt him even more when the boy he loved left so fast for jimin when the older boy asked for him. taehyung sighed, now alone, and felt the feeling he had grown used to know.

he looked down and started coughing hysterically with tears rolling down his cheeks. he didn't even hear the footsteps approaching him. nor did he hear the dramatic gasp when many flower petals fell from his mouth.

still coughing, he looked up, it was his hyung, hoseok. "t-tae? you have it now?" hobi's voice quivered as he asked the younger.

taehyung looked down in shame. hoseok was crying now too. "does yoongi know?" hoseok asked as he pulled the younger into a hug.

taehyung nodded against the older's chest. "he told you right?" taehyung nodded once again. he heard a heavy sigh leave hoseok's mouth.

the older pulled away from the hug and looked taehyung in the eye. "why didn't you tell me taetae?" hoseok asked.

taehyung choked on both tears and petals. hoseok patted his back in comfort. "im sorry hyung. i didn't want anyone else to know."

"who knows?"

"namjoon, seokjin, yoongi, and you now."

"not jimin or jungkook?"

taehyung shook his head. "okay taetae. i want you to get sleep. i'll make some breakfast for you. stop doing the workout thing it's making you even weaker."

taehyung nodded and went to his bedroom. he stared at the white wall with a blank face. soon, from exhaustion and being so weak, he fell fast asleep.

when he woke up again, it was by hoseok shaking him awake. the two talked over breakfast and now taehyung has two people telling him to get the surgery.

but he was too stubborn to do it and ignored their pleads for he never wanted to rid his feelings for jungkook.
