jungkook looked around taehyung's room and smiled at the cute decorations. he also smiled at the tiger plushie resting on taehyung's bed.

he sat down, moving the tiger aside so he wouldn't sit on it. "i still love your room taehyung. it suits you."

taehyung blushed. "can i show you something jungkook?"

the younger nodded, waiting on the bed in anticipation. taehyung pulled out several boxes and laid them on the bed. "these are all filled with bad memories and by that i mean petals."

jungkook frowned and opened them. they were indeed filled with petals. some white, some red, and some other colors you would see on roses.

jungkook grabbed taehyung's hand and looked him directly in the eyes. "someday these will go away and will stop coming okay? i'll love you back taehyung."

"but how will you get over jimin that fast?"

"because i realized there's someone out there that's more amazing and that someone i want to be you. i'm trying tae so dont worry okay?"

taehyung nodded. "jungkook i'm a bit tired can we sleep?"

jungkook said yes and helped him put the boxes away. they changed into pajamas, not in front of each other though, and got into the bed together. they had to squeeze together a bit so they wouldn't fall off since the bed was met for one person.

taehyung was spooning jungkook and holding him tightly. he smelt a strawberry scent from the other's hair and giggled. "jungkook do you use strawberry shampoo or something?"

jungkook laughed and nodded, turning over. they both froze and their laughter got caught in their throats as they realized how close they were. jungkook couldn't breathe and blushed, feeling his heart beat louder and louder. he took his opportunity to take in all of taehyung's features.

he felt terrible for not noticing them before. jungkook softly smiled and brought taehyung into his chest. the younger soon relaxed his tense body and curled up into the younger. jungkook grabbed a blanket and covered them both because of the cold atmosphere.

he smiled and didn't have any regrets for breaking up with jimin. after all these years he thought of taehyung as a close friend but now he's willing to open his mind to other ideas....

maybe he's more than just a close friend?
