Elyza's POV

"Wake up you've been sleeping for hours" I hear as someone shakes my shoulder. I curse under my breath and turn away from the voice and pull the blankets over my head.
"Leave her alone she had a long day riding your brother I'm sure she's tuckered out" I hear another voice
"Gross really? You had to say that? Right infront of my salad??" I groan annoyed and look over and Raven and Octavia.
" First of all that happened one time, I'm sorry O, and we said we wouldn't speak of it. Second why the hell do you think it's okay to wake me up?" I say rubbing my eyes and letting out a yawn.
" First of all loose the attitude with me Lex, second I just want to hang with my best friend" Octavia says playfully punching my shoulder.
"Hey! I'm her best friend! I actually let her sleep and make her breakfast" Raven says crossing her arms.
"You made me breakfast once Raven and you only did it because you sprained my wrist when you fell on me" I say throwing the blankets off of me and walk to my closet to choose my outfit for the day.
"Okay agree to disagree still" Raven says looking over at Octavia with a smirk.
"Both of you are my best friends I don't want to have this argument every morning" I say taking of my shirt and pulling on a new one.
"Fine but I'm just saying if you we're to get married I think we both know who your maid of honor would be" Raven says cockily smirking at Octavia once again sitting on the fluffy grey chair in the corner of my room.
"Yea it'd be Octavia" I smirk at her as her face falls.
"What!!!" Raven says with a pout.
"Hey Elyza" I hear followed by a knock on the door.
"Yes?" I ask pulling on my jeans and walking over to the door and open it met with Bellamy leaning against the doorway.
"Group meeting downstairs. Abby and Kane are back from walking the perimeter and said something was moved" Bellamy says pushing himself off his stance and standing straight.
"Are Rae and O with you? I can't find them Abby wants them downstairs too" He says starting to walk to the next habited room.
I turn back and look at Raven and Octavia with confusion on their faces as much as mine and with that we go downstairs curious as to what we'll find out.
It takes five minutes to get everyone to settle down before Kane begins to speak.
"On our check today Abby and I noticed one of our lines tampered with." Kane says. Lines. He's speaking of the multiple strands of floss and cars he and his crew set up in random places to throw off anyone who means trouble.
"Maybe it was another raccoon wanting to mess with you yet again " Raven mumbles causing Octavia to choke.
"I heard that Reyes." Kane says annoyed.
"The car was moved then moved back we saw the tire marks. All we ask is that you keep your eyes out for any cars anywhere that aren't marked with an x. And please inform us if you see anything out of the ordinary. Anyone who came in won't be able to find this place not unless they have a map and even then it will take hours" Abby says.
"That's all please go back to your tasks" Kane say waving everyone off.
I turn to Raven and Octavia grinning.
"No Elyza you heard him we aren't going to look for whoever this is we don't know how many there are or if they're dangerous." Octavia says crossing her arms as Raven nods next to her.
"Oh come on isn't it safer to find them before they find us? If they are nice and seeking help then we bring them back and help them and if they aren't. Well we won't" I say pushing past my friends and heading up to my room to get ready.
"We hate you we'll come to your room in 20" I hear Raven yell from behind me and my smile grows. I haven't had fun in weeks so I'm looking forward to this. I hope I find something that sparks my interest.

I get to my room and put on my holster on my thigh that holds my throwing knives and my gun. I grab my leather jacket and my flask of water and put it in my pocket. I shouldn't be gone long so I won't need much. I got to the restroom and grab my shoes that I had thrown in there the night before after my shower and look in the mirror half of my hair is dyed pink and I could tell the color is at the point of loosing its brightness. Well hair dye is another thing on my list.
"Hey Lex your mom is currently distracted with Kane I would suggest we leave now if you want to go without her noticing" Raven says through the door. I put on my shoes and walk out.
"Alright let's go and I want you two on your best behavior " I say walking towards the stairs with Raven and Octavia walking next to me.
"Of course! We're always on our best behavior. We're only going with you to cover for your bad behavior" Raven says adjusting her gun in her holster.
"Plus you need us to control those blood drooling bastards you really don't have any room to school us on our behavior princess" Ocatavia says as we reach the bottom of the stairs looking around casually to not draw any attention to us.
"What are you guys up to?"
"Holy shit Bellamy don't do that fuck off" I say with my hand on my chest.
"What? It's just a question why are you so frantic." Bellamy says holding up his hands and backing away slowly giving us a questioning look.
"None of your business we're just going for a walk but that's the reaction you get when you sneak behind someone" Octavia says leading us towards the front doors.
"Hey you cant-"
"Bye Bellamy see you later" I say once we are all out and slam the door.
"Let's take my car no offense to you guys but electric cars aren't such a smart choice now" I say jumping into my jeep
"It would be if our electricity wasn't limited I mean come on I would rather use it to charge my car than watch Captain Marvel every night" Octavia says rolling her eyes and glaring at Raven.
"Hey when they told me to pack I packed the necessities! It's not my fault no one thought we would ever live in a place with a whole ass movie theater" Raven says jumping in the passenger seat.
"Yea leave her alone that movie is what's holding me over besides she's hot who wouldn't want to watch it every night" I say smirking and turn on the car.
"Yea yea just keep your sexual fantasies about Larson under control and drive." Octavia says hoping in the back seat.

We get to the first gate and are met by Lincoln and Collin who through some convincing by Octavia's part let us through with no problem. When we first got here Kane decided that the first thing we needed was fences in random spots to throw any unwanted guests off but if you ask me it's probably just drawing attention. Although I will take the credit of convincing him so set them up in a way that the small hills that reside in this now dry land cover them for the most part. I speed through the sandy/dirt road. The sun is shining a little too bright for my liking and a groan that I can't contain escapes my mouth. I reach up and grab my sunglasses from the top compartment.
"It really had to be summer when this shit went into full affect? The world really hates me" I say pouting and turning to look at Octavia.
"Awe Lexie Poo maybe you'll get a tan and meet a cute boy soon" She responds patting my head.
"Or a girl!" Raven says.
"Or a girl right." Octavia says smiling and looking out the window towards the beach.
"When do you think we can go swimming? Can that be our next outing because I've been asking Abby but she keeps shooting me down" She says shaking her head.
"Remember if you want to do something you never tell my mom. Have I not taught you this?" I respond stepping on the gas when we approach one of Kane's many zoo of the dead as I call it.
"Well I'm sorry I didn't want to get in trouble" She says crossing her arms.
"Like you've cared about that before what's the difference now?" Raven snorts.
"Okay children where should we look first? We can head to the mall or Finn's man club/ dirty hotel?" I say scrunching my nose in distaste. I do no know what I saw in that kid or what Raven saw in that kid.
"Well I'm sure you two would not want to go see lover boy so I say the mall. We can bring back supplies your mom mentioned she needed yesterday." Octavia says shrugging of Ravens death glare.
"Great decision." Raven mumbles and I drive off in that direction.
