"Dylan come on walk honey" Cassie says snapping me out of my thoughts.

"So I heard Brody is throwing a huge frat party Friday" Connor says.

"Oh yes! We are going, Brody will love Dylan!" Andie says while shaking my shoulders.

"Mattttty! Babe! Come on we should go we haven't really announced us!" Ryann exclaims. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard, and I hope she shuts her mouth before I do it for her.

"Ryann how times do I fucking say this, we aren't and never will be dating. I don't date" Matt snaps back. His voice signals that he is clearly annoyed at her for thinking that they are a thing.

Ryann quickly grabs Matts arm and pulls him over to the side of the walkway and starts whispering.

Now I know it's not exactly polite to eavesdrop, but it could be potentially fun; plus everyone else is engrossed in conversation, so I have no one to talk to anyone.

"Matt we have been togethe-"

"Woah woah woah Ryann we were never together" he interrupts her.

"But it's been since sophomore year in high school we are practically official" she pleads.

"Look Ryann, you're perfect and I love fucking you; I don't date, nor do I want to. I love being around you, I just don't love you" he says.

Ouch. I would hate to be her right now.

"Hey Dylan maybe we could hangout at lunch or something, you know?" Connor says. I wanna smack the look he has plastered on his face off.

"Umm- I"

"No Dyl is eating with us, can I call you Dyl?" Kenzie says.

"Yeah, sure I'm fine with anything" I mutter.

"Okay great. But as for you Connor, Dyl is not gonna be one of your little toys" she continues as she starts laughing.

"Oh would you shut the fuck up, I'm not Matt. I actually care for girls, and could settle down if I chose to. I just haven't found anyone yet" he says while pushing Matts shoulder.

Matt clenches his jaw and balls his fist. He doesn't exactly look happy about what Connor said.

"Connor would you please shut up the fuck up, no one asked about me and my fucking love life!" Matt yells.

As if on command, everyone is silent. We stay silent until we finally reach the door to the science building.

"So how are you liking everyone?" Cassie asks and we somehow migrated behind everyone.

"The girls, well most of them, seem sweet, Connor appears as a sex machine, Cody seems really funny, and I get the vibe that Matt doesn't care for me" I whisper.

"Well I love all the girls except Ryann, but you will get used to her, but I can tell Connor wants to fuck you. He hasn't looked at anyone the way he looks at you in a long time. Cody is chill you will like him. Last but not least the devil himself in a boys body, Matt. He is exactly like he seems, using girls left and right" Cassie adds. "Practically every single hot girl at this girl has hooked up with Matt, well besides the freshman, like you" she finishes.

"Anyways, who is Brody they were talking about earlier?" I ask.

"You mean the one throwing the frat party? He's one of the funniest people I know. You will absolutely love him. He is pretty cute and single" she says nudging me.

"Guys come on it's room 245" Andie states.

The room has dozens of tables meant to seat two people each. Cassie tugs my arm and pulls me to a table and takes her seat. I look around and see the whole little group surrounding each other.
