"Matt stop, Dylan is right there, and she's sleeping."

I hear various bursts of quiet laughter and Cassie swatting Matt's hand away.

"So she hasn't woken up for the past hour?"

"Well guess what? You two are so loud you woke me up" I mumble.

"Look the little princess has woken, should we awake your kingdom?" Matt says facetiously.

"Matt quit it" Cassie replies through giggles.

My covers are ripped off my body, and all heat escapes making me curl up into a tight spiral.

"Class starts in four hours, don't sleep all day" Matt says nonchatalantly.

"So? That doesn't give you the right to torment me right now" I mutter.

"Next time say it louder couldn't hear you!" he replies sarcastically as he walks into the bathroom with Cassie.

"Cassie do we have anything in the fridge for breakfast, or should I go grab McDonalds or something?" I ask.

"Uh, I don't think we have anything; you can though. But if you do go out, could you get me something?" She replies hesitantly.

"Yeah I go grab some. You wanna come?" I question will grabbing my keys and phone.

"No, I'm good, but could you bring me an iced coffee and a McMuffin?" she says nicely while batting her eyelashes.

"Give me the cash, and I will" I respond.

"Can I come?" Matt asks.

I shrug and wait for Cassie to find her wallet.

"Cass, don't worry I can cover you" Matt says.

I leave our room, and Matt trails closely behind me.

"We aren't training for a marathon, why do you always walk so fucking fast?" he asks annoyed.

I stop for a minute and think of an answer. Sure, I met the kid yesterday, but the past 24 hours have consisted of no good moments for either of us.

"To try to get as far from you as possible" I reply smugly.

"Ouch, sweetheart that hurt" he responds while covering his heart. "I have done nothing for you to hate me, what's your problem?"

"Oh my, not this again" I mutter.

"Seriosuly, what have I done for you to dispise me this much?"

"God, are you stupid?" I state rudely. By now we have stopped in the front lobby of the building and Matt is a decent three feet away from me.

"What did I do now?" he questions.

"Now? It hasn't even been 24 hours, and you already illustrated clear as day that you can't even stand something as simple as my presence" I spit back. My words are laced with venom, and I just want to leave this brainless boy baffled in this hallway and go to McDonalds.

Matt ponders on an answer that will probably be enough of an insult to shut me up until we get home.

While he does that, I continue walking out to my car. By the time I'm blessed enough to be back around him I'm in the drivers side of the car. I roll the window down far enough to where he can here me speak.

"Are you gonna stand there and burn daylight or hop in?" I ask while avoiding eye contact.

He gentle tugs on the door handle and plops down in the passenger seat.
