Ju-Sheng and Yuri are ordinary students at Shiro Usagi Prep Academy. Yuri Natsu is a 15 year old girl, who loves art. You'd mostly see her in art class, either painting, or sketching. She also plays piano. Ju-Sheng Dietsu is a 16 year old boy, who adores sports. He's always roaming the court, facing off in basketball or soccer. Yuri was more towards her friends, and friends alone. But she was a very kind person overall; even if she wouldn't normally go out of her way to talk to you.
"What do you think about this nice mauve dress?" Yuri squealed excitedly.
"Perf! You will rule that recital!" Her best friend Ivichai said.
"You will totally wow the audience with your dress, and your amazing song!" Screamed Shaiu, her other best friend. They were choosing an outfit for Yuri, because tonight, she was performing in front of hundreds of people. Yuri wasn't nervous at all, as she had done this before. She was a pro when it came to performing. She basically owned the stage!
"What's it like? To be in the centre of attention?" Questioned Ninju, another of her best friends.
"It's pretty cool, once you think about the attention, and the applause, and the--" Yuri was abruptly stopped mid-dream by Ivichai, who was worried she might be late.
"Snap out of it! You got to get your butt out there and play!" Said Ivichai.
"Okay." Yuri said as she walked out of the prep room onto the stage. "Is Ju-Sheng here?"
She wondered as she glanced out into the vast audience. As she sat down in front of the piano, she saw Ju-Sheng standing right in the back of the audience. She wasn't mentally prepared to see him, but she used this to her advantage.
Ju-Sheng was the last to come to the recital, and all the seats were taken. Once Yuri had seen him, she started playing as best as she could. There was a smile on her face, and she rocked the stage. The next day, people came by to congratulate Yuri.
"Nice job! Go girl! Whoo hoo!" Someone cried. Yuri wasn't really familiar with this type of treatment, so she was really confused. Usually she'd be left in a corner or ignored, leaving her no other choice but to go sit in the art room, and draw all by herself. But today must have been different. Outside, in the corridor, Ninju and her boyfriend, Aari were kissing. People were forcing them to, since they had just become a thing. Ninju felt weird about this new change.. so she decided to break up with him. "Aari, it's not what it used to be. I just don't feel it anymore."Outraged by this, Aari decided to make her jealous. He asked out all the girls he could see, from wherever he was.
His attempt failing, he came to Yuri for help.
"I was never comfortable with you two being a thing anyways. I'm glad Ninju came to her senses." She scoffed, secretly super excited. Yuri was a super serious, super smart girl, but once you got to know her, she was absolutely amazing to hang out with! Aari was a bit disappointed with this response from Yuri, but he still wanted to get back with Ninju. Aari attempted to face the facts; Ninju was over their relationship, and that was that.Over the next few classes, Ninju began to feel a bit sorry for Aari, but didn't have personal feelings for him. Feeling sad for Aari, Ninju walked over to her next class, hoping to see him there, since they had that class together. Thankfully, Aari was standing right before her.
"What do you want?" Aari said abruptly.
"I'm sorry if I had hurt you in any way, but I still don't want to be a thing with you... If that's ok." Ninju said with a slight insincere smile on her face. Aari was surprised by Ninju's actions, hence he decided to question her. It was as if someone pushed him hard into a wall.
"Are you lying? Because, I honestly feel like you lie to me everyday." Aari says with clear doubt in his voice.
"If you didn't trust me at the start, why did you ask me to be your girl in the first place? Ugh! If you ask me, it's plain obnoxious. Lying to you would be a waste of my breath. Good luck finding another woman, you appalling, pathetic waste of time." Ninju exited with disgust, as she cried on the inside. Aari was outraged by this, his head pounding like an alarm, and wanted to take out his anger on someone. Aari saw Yuri standing in a corner, as she sketched on a piece of lined paper.. The perfect person to fall as prey. Aari walked up to her, with the burning intention of harming her.
"Look who's here! Listen, I'm not sorry about what I had said earlier, just so you know. So, I hope you don't expect me to say sorry." She got up and held her paper in her arms. Aari got up, with the burning nerve to slap her. "Not really what I wanted to hear." He said, slapping her across the face. Yuri dropped her paper and her pencil and fell down. Luckily, handsome, heroic, and strong Ju-Sheng , saw what Aari had done to poor Yuri. Extremely enraged with this, Ju-Sheng stomped over to Aari and punched him in the eye."You dare fucking lay a hand on her, you glorified player?!" Ju-Sheng grunted, as he beat up Aari.
"Uh, I'm sorry! Just please don't physically harm me!" Aari yelped as he was trying as hard as he could to dodge Ju-Sheng's angry punches. "Sorry doesn't cut it here at Shiro Usagi Prep." Ju-Sheng says as he throws Aari to the floor. Aari runs away - still panicking - at the speed of light, only to bump into Ivichai and Shaiu.
"Oh shit!" Aari shouts as he gets up from bumping into Ivichai and Shaiu. He runs back down the stairs, never to talk to Ju-Sheng again. Yuri gets up from her fall only to see Ju-Sheng standing right before her.
'Holy, his stare is so intense!' She squeaks in her head, as Ju-Sheng stares affectionately down at her. Ju-Sheng pushed Yuri against the wall, and told her something she would never forget.
"If any man touches you again, I will kill them." She could feel his hot breath upon her cheek. Yuri was left speechless. All she could utter was,"Heh, ok." Ju-Sheng walked away with a sparkle in his eye and a smirk on his face. Yuri Natsu could clearly see, he somewhat had feelings for her.Meanwhile in the garden, Ninju was beating up Aari, because she heard what had happened to Yuri. Yuri walked in on them to see Aari get what he deserved. "I will kill your ugly fucking ass!" Ninju yelled in a fit of rage. "I'm not surprised." Yuri said as she stood there, admiring Ninju. The next day, Ju-Sheng completely ignored Yuri. She got worried by this sudden change. Did he actually love her, or was he just being a hero? It came to the point she started sending letters to Ju-Sheng, detailed with every hint of how much her affection grew. She sealed her envelope with a kiss and a spritz of perfume, and slid it into his locker.
Later that day, Shaiu wasn't feeling very well.
"I feel so, so sorry for you Shaiu-chan!" Ivichai said in despair. Ivichai felt strongly about Shaiu not feeling well. After all, they are best friends.
"I might have to leave. I should call home." Shaiu muttered. With her change of health, Yuri started feeling bad, she hoped she would get better.
"I know you'll get better, because you are the strongest person I know." Yuri said as she hugged her friend. "Thank you, Yuri."The next class, Ju-Sheng received the first letter, placed on top of his science textbook.
"The hell..?" He opened the letter and a whiff of strawberry scented perfume attacked his nose.
"Dang that smells good." He read the contents of the letter in his head. As he read it, Yuri's message repeated and stuck in his mind. It echoed on and on, making him wonder what he did to deserve this. His feelings for Yuri began to blossom, like a flower in the spring.
"Wow." He whispered. He wanted to write her back. Or better yet, talk to her in person. As he fixed his uniform, Ju-Sheng was eager to see Yuri-chan. He brushed through his hair, and set his tie. When Yuri heard Ju-Sheng was looking for her, she knew he was coming to talk to her about the letter.
"Morning, Ju-Sheng!" Yuri said cheerfully. Ju-sheng smiled that handsome smile of his, when he saw Yuri was happy to see him. Ju-Sheng started walking closer, and closer to Yuri, causing her to step back little, by little. Yuri was a bit scared, but on the inside, she was super excited. When Yuri couldn't go backwards anymore, Ju-Sheng whispered something in her ear.
"I love you too." Yuri was utterly surprised by this. He leaned in, just until their noses almost touched, winked at her, then he left like the greatest thing in the world had just happened.~Hey readers! Don't forget to vote for this chapter!
