Before we go, I have a few questions

P.O.V. from Thor

Valkyrie didn't take long when she went to Texas to pick up the half-goddess to take her to the Project institute base, but the distance between the mækyriar and us is progressively increasing. Now we needed to go to Europe, and, furthermore, Asia. As Valkyrie was supposed to supervise the girl from now on, only Loki and I went in search of Thomas.

— Thoma studies mythology's, right? — I asked suddenly Loki, sitting by my side, staring at him. We stayed in silence practically since we boarded the plane, something that, in fact, wasn't even that odd to me.

Ever since we got back to Earth, Loki seemed a bit more hesitant, preoccupied, much more than his normality, that usually is unconcerned.

— As far as I remember, I think so. — He shrugged, staring back at me.

— You don't think his reaction will be... Srange? — I questioned again.

— Why? Are you insinuating he's your fan? — He quipped, raising an eyebrow.

— Of course not, Loki! Well, thinking back, I don't know. — I admitted, turning back to the window on my side.

— If he passes out, you already know. — The other replied also turning back, again ironic. — You'll have to carry him alone.

And so, the conversation ended, and after a few minutes of silence, we arrived at Thomas's house. After the incident of his father, the boy moved to a more urban side of London, less isolated from the cities than his father's old house. From what we knew, he should already be at home, according to his schedule of meeting with a group of historians from the area.

I left the van by myself, and before I could even close the door, Loki exclaimed.

— Remember the fainting thing, I meant it!

— Don't start it, brother. — I exclaimed back already closing the door, without waiting for an answer back.

I followed through the entrance of the house and touched the little button at the side of the door, releasing a very annoying sound for a doorbell.

The noise of something heavy over a surface echoed the next second. Murmurs were followed by footsteps, and so the clink of keys, and then the creaking of the door opening. A sequence of sounds which led me to the apparition, at the other side of the door, of the messy-haired boy with half-cramped clothes, probably all caused by his long day.

— Hello. — I said to Thomas on the other side of the door, showing a smile that, by his face, looked odd to him.

— Hello, good afternoon. — He answered opening the door a bit more, retributing my smile with a smaller one.

— You'll need to come with me, Thomas.

He arched an eyebrow, wondering, even more, with why I knew his name.

— I'm sorry, but why?

— The Phoenix Project, to which you will participate. From Tony Stark. Haven't they sent you an e-mail? — I asked.

— Uhm, yeah, they sent me, but it's today? I thought they would tell me the date in advance or something,

— They didn't? You know, never mind, it would be complicated. — I said, rolling my eyes. — Anyway, uh, you can take whatever you feel it's necessary and then come with me, you must be quick. — I suggested, doing what Valkyrie probably could have done as soon as she went to meet Candice.
