Kira POV
Long ago, Angels and Demons were allies. We went to war together and won every battle they fought, yet every death was not in vain. Our relationship with the Angels was going well... Until one day, something bad happened. Someone stole something from the Angels, and they were not happy about that.
They declared war, and so we went to war. The Demons lost many lives, including the Demon who stole from the Angels. The Demons all thought all hope was lost... But then one of our kind declared a truce. The Angels ended up accepting the truce, so we never turned to each other again. At least, that's what we thought...
A year later, the Angels destroyed the village with everyone in it. My family, my friends... Everyone. Dead. I was just a child... I never thought I'd witness something so brutal. I felt betrayed... I would never forgive them. They took everything from me.
I thought I was the only survivor, but I saw another. A girl. Mourning over her family.
I decided to help her, since we both felt and experienced the same pain. She was confused, but then she accepted my help.
Her name was Ash. A Half Demon, which is rare.
We decided to run away, out of the Angels' sight.
With years of research, I found out that the mortals were associated with the Angels. If I could take the mortals down... Every single one of them... I could avenge all the Demons.
But the only thing stopping me from doing that was...
