Parker's P.O.V

"See you around, I guess." I shrugged my shoulders and walked away.

I heard her cry and I felt a little guilty.

'You should, I can't believe you would ever do that. She was our soulmate!'

'We have Emily.' I reminded him. Just thinking about Emily brought a smile to my face.

'You mean you have Emily. I hate her.' My bird sneered.

'Shut up! She's better than our so called 'soulmate'.'

Keian blocked our mind-link and I shrugged again. It seems that's all I've been doing lately.

I continue to walk to my car when I hear my phone ring. I smile, knowing it's Emily.

"Hey baby." She cooed when I answered the call.

"Hey Emmy." I laugh.

"I miss you, are you going to come over?" She asked, her voice sounding sweet and innocent.

"I will, just for you." I smiled.

"Okay. I love you Parker."

"I love you too. See you soon babe." I ended the call.

I put my phone back in the back pocket of my jeans and made my way to my red Mercedes car.

I opened the door and sat down.

I closed the door and put the key in. Putting the car in reverse, I back out.

Turning down the road Emily lives, I saw her car parked in her drive-way. I parked my car next to hers and got out.

I jogged up to her front door and knocked. Emily opened the door and squealed. She then jumped onto me, and I caught her. I smiled and hugged her closer to me.

Keian was trying to take control forcing me to put Emily down and turn around.

"Baby? Parker? Are you okay?" Emily asked, concern laced in her tone. She placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah. It's Keian. Give me a minute." I muttered.

"Okay.." She trailed off, her hand leaving my shoulder. I heard the door close and I went to the stairs. I sat down and clutched my head.

'I don't want Emily touching us.'  Keian squawked.

'Too bad. She's my girlfriend and I'm not breaking up with her for.. her.'  I replied back, disgust laced in my tone when I said her.

'Whatever. Once you realize you really need her, don't come crying to me to get her back. And to save you from embarrassment don't go crawling back to her either.' With that Keian blocked our mind-link.

"Whatever." I muttered, getting up.

I turned around and saw the door was open. I went inside, closing the door.

Emily appeared in front of me, crossing her arms.

I flinched and then raised an eyebrow. Sometimes she was confusing, this is proving why.

"I heard you muttering about some other girl. Are you cheating on me?" She questioned, uncrossing her arms. She started to frown and her eyes got watery.

I immediately brought her into my arms and stroked her hair.

"No, god no. Let me explain what you heard."

"Let's go to my room." She suggested, leading the way.

I followed, my fingers tangling together from being so nervous.

She opened the door to her bedroom and sat down on her desk chair. I sat down on her bed and she motioned with her arms to continue.

"Well?" She prodded.

"Well.. I found my soulmate." I didn't beat around the bush, straight to the point.

"Oh?" She tilted her head.

"Yeah.. And Keiayou cn was mad I rejected her to stay with you." I said, smiling at her.

"Hm. Can I talk to Keian?" Emily asked.

I nodded, confused. I knew Keian was listening to everything, so I let him take control over my body forcing me into the depths of my mind.

"Keian? Can you hear me?" Emily questioned us- him.

"Yes. I can." He scoffed, crossing our arms and turning our head away.

'Behave. She just wants to talk.' I warned him.

He didn't answer back, but looked at Emily with squinted eyes.

"Keian, I understand you're mad but I love Parker. I get what you're going through-" Keian cut her off.

"No you don't! You can't have a soulmate because you're cursed! You witch! You take other people's soulmates and destroy perfectly okay soon-to-be-families!" Keian shouted.

'You damn bird! You can't call her a witch! Just because she hasn't shifted yet doesn't mean you can go around calling her names!' I screamed at him.

Emily looked calm as she listened to him. Once Keian finished his statement she laughed and said, "You finished?"

Keian rolled his eyes, nodding.

"You're right about one thing, Keian. I am a witch, that's why I can't shift. And just because I am unable to have my own soulmate does not mean I can't find someone to love. It just happens to be that Parker and I both love each other, and he found his 'soulmate'." Emily spat at Keian.

Keian clenched his fists, and shook in fury.

"You bitch! Phoenix is our soulmate and you're just a witch! Witches and Shifters don't belong together!" Keian yelled, raising his arms in the air to get his point across.

Emily's eyes started to water and I felt my heart tugged at the sight. I knew Keian had gone too far with his words and I forcefully forced him back to his place while I took full control.

I shook my head, and ran over towards Emily. I cradled her head in my arms and I smelled her hair. I smiled and hugged her tighter.

She began to sob. "You don't believe I'm just a 'witch'.. do you?"

"No baby. Just because you're a witch means nothing to me, I still love you. And because you are so unique, it makes me love you even more." I stated, kissing her head.

She leaned into me, wiping her tears as she smiled up at me.

I leaned down and pecked her lips. She smiled even more.

"Who's Phoenix?" She questioned.

I tensed up and froze.

She turned around in my arms and faced me.

"Who's Phoenix?" She asked me again.

"My uhm.. my soulmate." I stuttered.

"Oh. Okay. I've seen her around.. She's a year younger right?"

"Correct." I smiled.

"Too bad for her."

"Mhm." I hummed, kissing Emily again.

She giggled and rested on my chest.

"Get some sleep." I kissed her once more on the forehead and tucked her in bed.

"I love you, Emily. Goodnight."

I then left her room, closing her door.
