Shifter World: ☾
The shifter world was a tight and small community of ordinary looking humans. Though, their world was much too complicated to just be ordinary. If you were one of those extremely rare people to not have been able to shift, you were disowned and shunned; taken out of the shifter world. Rumors are that the alpha them self takes the person and kills them.
The alpha on many times had reminded the shifters that it was best they did this, so they couldn't travel into the human world and tell their secrets. Everyone agreed, by choice or not. No one had any authority to question their orders.
Most of the shifter people had human family, but they were too ashamed to speak up, or ever mention them. The reason behind that is that the humans were known to be extremely weak and do not possess any kind of power(s). The humans were considered the normies living on the outskirts of the shifter's land.
The shifters believe in an Italian witch Goddess, Aradia. The shifters were believed to have originated from Italy, as their animal inside speaks Italian once in form.
Since everyone is not going to be the same animal, it's a widely asked question, 'then how do they mate?' The answer to that is the animal of the shifter does not affect the process. The shifter could be a fox and mate with a reptile and have a normal shifter kid and the kid could be a bird. The Goddess Aradia chooses their animals.
If humans are able to join a shifter pack, they have to prove themselves worthy enough to have a ceremony created just for them to earn an animal. They have the ability to choose which animal they want, only if they are able to outfight the alpha of the protected pack and prove themselves the most worthy.
The shifters believed that the Goddess witch Aradia had always worked the pack for where the males fight other males, or the occasional female for the position they desire. Though the position gains you respect and power over the pack, it is very dangerous. They must always watch behind their backs.
There can be witches, werewolves, vampires, etc in the shifter world. Though, vampires aren't very common in that area.
