Predaking grumbled to himself as he flew. He knew not where he was going, nor when he was going to get there; but something is telling him that he was flying in the correct direction to wherever his instincts may be taking him. I... I am alone. He whispered in his helm.
"Where is he going, Hearthwing? I feel I have been this way before... but I remember not of what is or was further down this path." Graveletter uttered. "Didn't we used to walk this path?" Hearthwing nodded and dove to the ground, placing Graveletter on the walkway before she landed herself. The walkway was worn and scratched from centuries of Predacon talons and tails travelling across its surface. Hearthwing and Graveletter were surrounded by the Sea of Rust and its winds rolled off of their plating as they passed through. Along the path stood steel towers with etchings covering them; names, carvings, even small tokens of one's existence lay at the bottoms of each tower covered in rust from eons of abandonment.
"I can't seem to remember either, Graveletter." Hearthwing sighs and attempts to fly up and see what is ahead, but is grounded. "What on Cybertron?" Her wings won't move from her back. She closes her optics and focuses on just her wings. Nothing.
"Maybe we keep walking? There is a probability that the source of incompatible limb function is further down this path." Graveletter suggests. The two continue their path up the abandoned walkway.
Soon, the rust gets thicker and hides the path from view. Multiple sets of dark purple optics are seen moving through the rust cloud. "Graveletter, I don't think these are the welcoming party..." Hearthwing says to her companion. Graveletter nods in agreement. The two stay near one other as the optics inch closer and one lashes out, skimming Hearthwing's shoulder with it's claws.
Predaking turned around as he heard the growls of the Undead Predacons surrounding Graveletter and Hearthwing, then ran to help.
Hearthwing snarled and grabbed the Predacon's throat in her teeth and slammed it to the ground. The other Predacons around the two growled in unison and attacked the two all at once. Hearthwing screeched and they piled on her and her companion.
Stopping as he found Hearthwing and Graveletter, Predaking stared at the piled up Undead Predacons and started to back away as one of them spotted him. They hissed at Predaking and jumped off the pile, stalking towards him.
"Predaking!" Hearthwing yelled as a jet of flames burst out of the pile of Undead Predacons. A few of them hissed and backed off of the pile. She smiled and let out another jet of flames. "Stop cowering and help!"
Graveletter lashed his whips out at an Undead Predacon and it coiled around their neck. He quickly transformed and started to coil around it, crushing it.
