Wonwoo and Mingyu were sat in the familiar meeting room they'd been in at the very beginning of the month, sat either side of the dark oak table alongside some of the production crew, whilst they all monitored the feedback for the first couple of episodes that had finally been aired on TV.
Gone was the original hatred and tension that had initially hung within the room all those days ago. Now the atmosphere was relaxed as staff joked with one another in between serious conversation.

The first two episodes of the show were aired on both a Saturday and a Sunday to celebrate their premiere, but from that point on-wards episodes would only be scheduled for Saturdays. The ratings for the first two episodes had been fantastic and the second episode had only lost 2% of viewers in comparison to the first episode. A drop in viewers was expected, the same with any new show. However the production crew hadn't expected the drop in viewers to be so small, leaving everyone assured the show was being well-received.

It had even started trending on social media, with fans of the show commenting on what Idol's they'd like to see together in units or who they hoped would at least win. Of course there was also an outstanding amount of love being shown to both the co-hosts, Mingyu and Wonwoo themselves. Fans saying their chemistry onscreen was great and that they looked perfect besides one another.
Just thinking over the comments Wonwoo had seen made the older male feel a smirk tug at the corner of his lips. Although the first few episodes of the show that would be aired on TV were recorded during the time both Mingyu and Wonwoo hated each other; that at least wasn't obvious on screen.

As Wonwoo sat there, he could feel the way Mingyu would glance his way every now and again, as if his body was overly aware of every little thing Mingyu did. Ever since the truth had come out between them, there had been a little awkwardness but that seemed to be slowly subsiding - although both of them still were unsure how to approach each other now, it just felt too weird to go back to how they once were as if nothing had happened. But it was evident both of them still at least wanted to try.

That morning they'd had breakfast together in the kitchen back in their apartment and spoke over events of the past three years. Not events regarding their hatred for one another at that time, but instead Mingyu would tell Wonwoo of the places he'd been, where he'd been able to perform, the shows he had done. All the while Wonwoo listened intently, simply happy seeing the way Mingyu's face lit up at finally having his friend to confide in again.
They were catching up for missed time and learning things about each other again.

Mingyu hadn't stopped smiling that entire morning and it had taken all of Wonwoo's restraint to not shower the younger male in affection. Despite their height difference, which had increased over the years - Wonwoo still couldn't help but see that familiar puppy-like boy he'd trained with for all those years. He almost felt protective over the younger male.

Wonwoo turned his head slightly to look across the table towards Mingyu, who was currently focused on the screen at the front of the room as one of the management team discussed the scheduling over the remainder of the month - before the live episodes begun.

Mingyu had his black hair parted in the middle, exposing his forehead due to his bangs being slightly slicked back. He was wearing a black leather jacket over the top of a red and black striped t-shirt and black ripped jeans. Wonwoo couldn't help but appreciate just how attractive Mingyu had become over the years.
He truly was model material as all his fans claimed.

During their three years apart, Wonwoo had paid attention to every article written about Mingyu. He'd watch all his performances on TV or over social media, he'd buy his albums and keep an eye on him from afar. Yes, Wonwoo had allowed his own anger and hatred to cloud his judgement, but his anger hadn't just been directed at Mingyu - it was mostly directed towards himself for allowing the situation to reach the point it had. He'd just hated that Mingyu turned on him so quickly; but it's not like Wonwoo could blame him.
