Death, murder, self-loathing,

these are thing that controls the human mind, the quiet questions slowly creep up in the back of our minds 'when will I die?' 'Who will I see' 'will I ever be like them'. These are a few questions of your doubting minds.

People think life goes on, the simple task of being born, living, then dying, but for others life isn't that easy. For those of you who are like me,  you doubt every second of every moment of every day. This is what soon leads to a dull and unsatisfying life. The life of a nobody.

This maybe a slightly different from what you were expecting, but yes, there was a point in my life where I was bright and bubbly, where I had hope for my future and my life to come. But those dreams of mine were soon crushed.

It was just another day in my town, the clouds gathered around the sun that was meant to kept us warm and make our crops grow as the night began to set in and the moon soon showed her glowing face.

The brisk, icy wind brush against my almost frozen cheek, my now sky blue lips chattered along with my shining white teeth as I staggered down the deafeningly loud street. However, silence soon fell as I turned down a pitch black ally; the only sound is of my own feet slowly crunching in the left over snow from the previous night.

it had been a long day and another hopeless search for a missing girl called Jessica stoneword, also known as my best friend and house mate. she had gone missing after her new boyfriend called her one night to go to a new club that had only just opened up in our town. then soon after she disappeared. the police had gotten involved and yet we still had no leads, no nothing. it was as if she never existed in the first place.

as I walked down the twist and turns of the dark ally ways my mind began to go into overdrive as the sound of a loud crack echoed in the seemingly empty ally, and with that sound I slowly reeled my head to the left only to be met with darkness. That was until the so simple, yet so terrifying words were spoken. "please......please help me.... HELP ME!!!" the voice began screaming as hands shoot out of the darkness, their bloody shine, glistened against the snow as I held back a scream and slowly backed away.

The fear had taken over me, just what is happening here?

The once quiet ally had now been drowned in the screams of the innocent and here I was, not running, not crying, just holding my breath whilst leaning against the jagged darkened wall. I was trying to make myself less visible to the man or beast who had killed the once whole man that was now a pile of crimson stained flesh scattered on the once pure snow, now tainted with the dark whispers of death and the over whelming stench of decay.

And then i saw her, her long red hair, her dull green eyes with flecks of brown and crimson, it couldn't be! i wouldn't believe it! I needed to get out of this ally way! luckily for me this ally lead on to the woods that my house was in.

I started to run, the fear of death began to creep closer and closer. Her insane grin grew as she locked eyes with me as i turned my head back to if she was following me. My own eyes widened as she turned my way and began charging at me. I stopped and stood there for a moment like a dear in headlights, finally my fight of flight mode kicked in as I swiftly turned on my heel and began running even faster than before in the darkness of the on coming  forest hoping to lose this craze infested girl.

What happened to her, before she went missing she was she was fine and giggling about going on that date with that creepy guy from the bar that she called her boyfriend. My eyes widened yet again, as if I was possible, could have that guy done something to her. I didn't have time to think about this thought. I turned left and jumped over a broken tree log and into a clearing. This wasn't good, the moon shone down illuminating the clearing, this left me out in the open.

"I see you...." Came the slurred voice of Jessica as she somehow caught up with me, I began to panic, how in the hell did she get here, I thought I lost her in the trees. But my eyes wouldn't deceive me. Would they? then I realised that she knew these wood just as well as me, mostly because we lived in them.

shit! this was a mistake!

I screamed as she came forward holding something I didn't see her with before.

"what are you looking at." she asked as her eyes follow my gaze down to the object she was holding and she smirked. "oh this? Sorry I was hungry" she said as she bit it some sort of liquid ran down her chin. I almost gaged as she smirked at me evilly.

"do you want some?" she asked bringing the object into the light of the moon, I gasped in fear. There in her hand was a severed human arm. I began to panic and shake my head. "oh, why not?!? it's so tasty!" she yelled with a big smile.

I began to back up hoping that whilst she was distracted by her 'meal' I could escape. She began giggling madly "oh well, you will want it soon" she said as two hands rush out of the darkness and grab me. I began to struggle and scream but they didn't let go.

Jessica walked over to me and smiled up at the person holding me in place. "Karin, this is harled my boyfriend" she said and for a moment she looked like she was back to normal, well if she wasn't covered in blood I would have thought it.

"what do you want?" I whispered as she looked at me with the biggest smile so far.

"I just want to welcome you to the family" she said I then felt the most excruciating pain in my neck as I tried to see what it was it only got worse as Jessica grabbed one of my arms and bit in to it. I felt like acid was running through my veins, as if I was being burned alive!

Soon I began to lose my conciseness and the once pretty scenery of the moonlit clearing became dull then pitch black.

"welcome to our family Karin"
