Her eyes kept scanning over the letter.

Win his heart...

Love him, too..

Desperate.

Sakura's breath hitched slightly at that word. She couldn't help but feel her heart pound with heavy pain. Karin was desperate for Sasuke.

Sasuke..

The pink-haired girl almost let out a quivering sigh at his name. She still held her feelings for him, but now...

...would he ever love me?

Sakura's eyes averted down at the letter in her hands as the corners of her mouth lifted up, forming a bitter smile on her pretty lips. "No, he won't," She murmured to herself, making her heart crack. "maybe he'll love her. Yeah. It's the only good thing I can do..."

She placed the paper down onto the side table before throwing herself onto her comfy couch, her eye lids drooping slowly. The rosette let out a soft yawn as sleep finally consumed her, making her heartbreak and worries slowly fade away.

Shiny emerald orbs opened up as the bright morning sunlight hit the eyes and face of the sleeping pink-haired girl, who groaned in discomfort at the light. Not that she didn't like it, she was just tired.

Very, for some odd reason...

Nonetheless, she sat up, only to wake up with confusion. Instead of on the couch which she had remembered she'd lied on yesterday, she was greeted in her comfy, fluffy bed, her sheets wrapped around her body close and her pillows behind her. Sakura's brows furrowed. "What the..."

"Oh, goodness!" A voice exclaimed quiet loudly, as Sakura turned to the direction of it, only to be met by warm arms wrapping around her neck. "Sakura! You're awake! You so had me nervous!"

"Ino?" Sakura groggily croaked out, much to her embarrassment and annoyance, since she hated the way she sounded at the moment. "What're you doing here?"

The blond female grinned at her best friend as she let go of her neck and seated down at the middle edge of Sakura's bed. Ino twirled her hair slightly, her smile widening, "I just came to check up on you," she said. "you didn't answer any of my texts or calls. I was worried. So, I came here."

Sakura blinked a couple of times. Calls? Texts? She hadn't recalled either of those. Not much of what happened yesterday either, besides sleeping on the couch. "What happened? How'd I get here, in my room?"

"Well," Ino started, placing a finger to lips as her eyes stared up at the ceiling, thinking for a moment, before she smiled again. "I don't know. I just came to check on you, and your parents said you were in here. Man, and I left, and then came back, and you were still asleep! Thank Kami you're awake now."

Sakura's eyes went wide.

...What? Did she just say that I..

"Ino," The pink-haired girl said quietly as she began to sweat. "what day is it today?"

"Monday," Ino chimed cheerfully. "Why?"

Sakura stared at Ino, who's smile sat there dumbly on her face. It was then until Sakura's eye twitched slightly, before she immediately jumped out of bed, "I slept for two days...I slept for two days...what the hell, I slept for two freakin' days!"
